I am wanting to import pics from my computer into, for example, a heart shape. Is that possible with the Expression 2?

No, you can't import pictures. But you can print your picture and then load it on the mat and into your E2 to cut around it in a heart {or other shape}.

Thanks for the info. Can you tell me how to make sure the shape pattern is exactly where I want it on the mat since i won't be able to see the measurement marks behind the photo?

You can put your image on the screen and then place your printed photo in that location on the actual mat.
Or, you can use the Center Point feature {look on page 20 of the User Manual for directions}.
