I made this for a swap on this MB. This is one of the 3 items I made, and is my favorite. The fall colors turned out much more muted once I inked them and actually got them on the ball. I thought there were rather bright when I started off. Used the Artiste cart to cut most of the flowers at 3.5" (the ones that are wound up). Other were 2" down to 1" (flat). Inked them, added some artificial embellishments from a sprig that I brought at Michaels. I painted the smooth ball (much cheaper than the green styrofoam ones) a brown - paints are 59 cents at Michaels. I used a sharp knife and cut off 1/4 of an inch so that the ball will lie flat on a surface. Used a hot glue gun to attach everything. MaureenSala attached the following image(s):
