I just LOVE the way this project turned out! I cut all of the images from Square 1 adhesive backed material . . . it cuts just like vinyl, but I like it better because there is no need for transfer tape and it is repositionable so you can peel these cuts off and save them and use them again year after year. I have more details on my blog http://craftychicsblog.b...for-halloween-party.html

Can you use transfer tape?
A lot of my cuts have LOTS of pieces, and I would not want to position each one individually.
Looks like fun stuff to work with.
Is it printable?

You CAN use transfer tape, but you don't need to. This product is sturdier than traditional vinyl, so when you peel it off the backing it does not twist and warp. When I work with traditional vinyl I always feel like I have to be so careful so it does not distort the cut when you do a really delicate image. There are three types of material . . . solid colors, patterns and printable sheets. For this project I used the solid purple from the Halloween Pack but there is a printable product . . . here are some projects I have done with the printable http://craftychicsblog.b...bel/printable%20adhesive

example of a layered project each colored layer was cut with Square 1, in the same way that you would cut cardstock, and then layered. I did not use transfer tape for this. Details at http://craftychicsblog.b...onsters-in-my-house.htmlexample of printable productI created custom decals for my daughter's iPod. In this image you can see her peeling them off the backing . . . no transfer tape needed. then she placed it on her iPod and if she wanted to change them out she could . . . just peel off and place the one she is not using onto the backing sheet and put a new decal on the iPod. It does not even leave any stick stuff behind on the surfaces, so it is great for walls AND electronic devices! Check out my blog for all of the projects I have created with this product http://craftychicsblog.b.../search/label/square%201

The glasses are so cute.
Since it is so easy to remove, how will they stand up to use?
You wouldn't want them sliding off with condensation and handling at a party.

They will not slide off. They are stuck on to the glass like a sticker . . . but a REMOVABLE STICKER. Think of it as sticker than a traditional vinyl cling. They will not come off until you peel them off. You have to get your finger nail under one corner of it and then it just peels off without leaving any sticky stuff on your glasses that you need to remove. I would remove them before washing . . . not sure how the these would stand up to the dishwasher. I am going to make holiday decorations for all of the holidays so that I can just change these out. No need to buy fancy glasses, plates or bowls with holiday decor on them any more . . . I can just have simple basic pieces and change out the decals with the holidays/seasons.
