I am almost finished with all of my bags ... Should be mailed out by Friday of this week along with 20 cards that I am making for another swap ... Whew !! I will be tired of swaps for a little while. I think I will take a break until after the HOlidays !!   So nice to see that some of you have already mailed out ! That is wonderful !! Sherri , I hope you are feeling better dear .....take care I will be back in a couple of days to let you all know when I have mailed out. THE HOLIDAYS ARE UPON US !! I have both of the bags and their matching tags finished, just have the box and it's tag left to do. I think I will work on that later today and be mailing it off either tomorrow or Thursday when I mail out my other swaps.
I hope everyone is doing well. Hard to beleive Thanksgiving is next week, where has the time gone? I have got to get busy crafting, I want to make a mini album for a Christmas gift and I need to make a album by early Jan. for a baby shower. Yikes!!!

Hi Everyone - Well it is the Friday before BLACK FRIDAY and you know what THAT means ?? Yep ! You have ONE MORE WEEK to get your items mailed. Mine are done and will go out tomorrow or Monday. The Post Office closes early tomorrow so I dont know if I can make it since I have to work from 9-12 . I have also not been feeling well this week and it has been a struggle to keep on my feet. I am glad that Thanksgiving will be a quiet day at home with the DH. Making my own pies and sweet potatos and greenbean casserole, then getting turkey & fixins from MiMi's restaurant which is always yummy ! No long lines for us and just a day of R&R.... I wish you all a wonderful weekend and hope to see some great pics next week of lovely boxes and bags ! Love to All ! Barb

I didn't get the box and tag finished like I had hoped for. I kept my grandson yesterday, last night and today. Whew, no time for crafting when I have him. I plan on working on it tonight and or tomorrow and mailing out by Monday.

I mailed off Angela's (Geemommys) package today. There is no DC because it goes to Canada, but I do have the Customs Form Number.
I do hope she likes them.

Denise - I'm so excited to see them! I'm almost done as well. My sister is bringing a white gift bag for me when she comes for dinner tomorrow so I can finish my 3rd set. And I may go back to my first set & add a bit more if time allows, but I should easily finish this week. On a completely unrelated note, I have to tell a quick story about my 2 year old daughter. We were singing songs yesterday for a while when she suddenly announced "I have to poop because of all this singing." My uncle has now decided that I must sing like crap!  Nice, eh?! The things that come out of her mouth...

Hi Everyone ! Laura and Sherrie - very pretty gift bags ! ANgela ..... I cannot tell you how hard I laughed at that story... thanks ! I am feeling better now...it took about 6 days of antibiotics before they kicked in well...a miserable week of trying to work while I was ill...  Getting mine in the mail this evening...will try to get some pics with my camera on my phone and see if I can get them into the computer. I have never done that before. My DH has hinted at a new camera for Christmas ( I hope !) Happy Thanksgiving....Love to All ! Barb

Hi Everyone !! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving ! I was not feeling well,but I made it through...I finally got all my bags and tags done but due to the illness I did not get to mail yet. I hope to send them out tomorrow...I apologize to Yvonne and Jackie...I hope you will forgive me  it is embarrassing . I had a bad reaction to a vaccine and things got out of control... on top of being over-burdened with holiday doings and family stuff... In the meantime, I managed to get my hands on a camera and I got a super nice package from Jackie several days ago ...I will post the photos of the lovely bags and tags she made for me and a very cute and useful jewelry gift box..I love them all !! Barb, I hope you are feeling better. Don't feel rushed to get mine mailed, your health comes first. What bad timing for you to be sick over Thanksgiving, I am sure that added a lot of unneeded stress . Take care and no need to be embarrassed or to feel bad, I know you will get them mailed out when you feel up to it.

I am so happy that you liked the bags and box and that they made it there safely. I had some problems with the board here and could not log on here for several days so I had to make a new account and start all over again. grrr.. I don't know why I couldn't get into the site, I know I am not the only that had problems either. Hopefully I don't have anymore issues with it.

Jackie Jackie, I've had some difficulties logging on as well, but they seem mostly related to Internet Explorer. If I use the computer with Firefox, I'm much more likely to be successful. Having said that, I'm on my husband's tablet right now and this site looks awful on it! But at least I could log on... Denise, I just wanted to confirm for you that your package did go out. I missed the pickup time from our little postal outlet, so I think it probably didn't go to the sorting facility until Monday. :( But it's coming! I hope you like them!

Hi Ladies - Thank you for all the well wishes... I had a good day today - better than in a long time . I am hoping it will continue. I am pretty sure I can get caught up this weekend on some things. I also know there are technical problems with this MB. I hope PC will get it fixed soon. I encourage partners to trade personal email addys so that you can get in touch off the MB if necessary. Jackie, the bags and box are perfect for me - I like classic, conservative looking things and they are all very classy ! They will certainly be utilized in my gift-givng this year. Laura - that picture of you looks very COLD where you are !! I can see the picutes now, very pretty bags! I hope everyone else can post pictures as well. I love seeing the creations! The picture is from last Christmas and I swear I only make my dog dress up for the Christmas morning walk! It's embarassing for him! My elderly neighbor just loves my dog and gave him the santa hat and coat a few years ago so we always go visit him. He gets a big kick out of it! Have a great week! LA

Hi Ladies ! There are some really beautiful bags and cards here....thanks to all you who have posted so far. I apologize for being slow. Life has over-whelmed me lately and suffice it to say that I have spent a lot of time in recent weeks in doctor's offices for both myself and my hubby...My energy level is suffering a lot and after work I have been so worn out that I try to work on my obligations for swaps, but I did get behind. The good news is that I have everything done and mailed this afternoon I am posting a few pics of the small bags I did for Yvonne and Jackie...but not all of them OK - I will check back in soon....get those photos up please ! STRESS has been my middle name ever since this swap was started - not because of the swap, but because of my Life !! I lost my business bank deposit yesterday .....pray that it shows up ! I received my wonderful bags yesterday, they are adorable. Thank you Barb. I really am going to hate parting with them. I will post pictures later today, I am hoping the sun decides to shine so I can have some better lighting, it looks very gloomy out right now.

I'm so sorry for the delay. I thought I had posted several days ago that I had received my package from Denise, but I obviously didn't!  I'm so embarrassed! I received a beautiful assortment of goodies from Denise. Good think I took pics when they arrived - I've already used 2 sets for gifts - one for my friend for a hostess gift, and one to my SIL at our family Christmas party! Everybody has commented on how beautiful they are. And then I have to admit that I didn't make them myself!

So sorry for the delay in posting. OMG!!! FINALLY. I didn't think I would ever get these posted on here. I got a new computer with windows 8 and it is driving me crazy trying to figure out how to operate it. Barb, I am so sorry for taking so long to post pictures of the wonderful bags you made for me. HAPPY DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS !!! How many of you went out to the big sales today ??? Not me... trying to recuperate from a 'straight through' 14 hours drive home from Virginia last night !! I am going to try to go through the posts here tonight and make sure that everyone mailed and received their bags and tags. If you were flaked upon , please send me a PM . I will have the flaker put on the flaker list. I am so sorry that there are people who continue to do this to our good members....I do not allow flakers back into my swaps unless they make it right with their partners first. I plan to start this back up in a couple of weeks to do Valentine's bags & tags...so if you want to make any ahead of time that will be okay with me ! We will keep it simple and do small to medium size bags with a tag and a Valentine card....Two sets per person. Peace and Love to All !! Barbara

Hi Everyone - As far as I can tell we have one "flaker" in this sap which is Joysee, but I think she has been very ill. I hope that she is recovering now...I have not heard. COB, I am sorry you did not receive a swap item...but perhaps we can get you a really good partner next time. I am going to open up the swap now for Valentine's Bags and Tags and Cards. You can choose to do one or two sets and design them with your partner's needs in mind (as always !) Thank you to all who participated here and I wish you all a Happy New Year !
