Well after my experience with the black screen of death, I know many are like me and scrap when possible maybe once every 3,4,6,8 months. PLEASE Be AWARE UPDATE EVERY TIME YOU TURN ON YOUR GYPSY Just in case apparently new cartridges can cause issues with your gypsy. I didn't know this, keep that little black cord accessable. I just wanted to share. One question though do I need to update my Cricut too? How offten is that recommended?

The only time I updated my Expression is when I first got my Gypsy. I had called Customer Service for help with the Gypsy and I did ask him how often I would need to update my Expression (since I never had before). He said you should do it about once a year.

I just have the cricut expression, do I have to update that machine some how? I lost my cord to my gypsy to update, so waiting on my new one to get here. I think I am going to download the craft room to use also.
