Thanks GrandmaJ...YOU are a true friend....THe holidays are a very rough time for me...seems like that is when ALL the ***BAD*** has happened and it's just a reminder of those things. NOT my fav time of the year by no means. I hope the weather cooperates with your son's travel. ENJOY them....

Merry Christmas, Maggie Friends. It's been a great day here, we got up around 7:30 am with the kids to open gifts. My oldest got an iPhone and was excited beyond belief then I realized I did not wrap one of her gifts. We went looking for it and I cannot find it!  It's a case for the phone because an 18 yr old NEEDS a protective case for that phone. I have looked all day and cannot find where I hid it. I know I am going to get her a new one then find the original one.

Traci you are right. Definately need to get a protective case. I hope you find DD's before you have to buy another. I got DS a iphone too. My sister got him an otterbox for it! He is terrible with phones.

Hi Maggie Sisters~ Merry Christmas to all! Hope you are all busy enjoying your day with your families. We got up early too. I've been up since 5am. Kids got up at 6:30! It was a fun filled, exciting time. DD got the 2 boys Itouches and they have been fooling around with those ever since. We have Christmas lunch because DH has to work. Everything was great! Rhonda~ Sorry to hear that. We have some issues here too, some of the girls don't get along with each other. DSIL doesn't like anyone but himself and we've had a few rough times as well. This year they'd already made me cry several times by yesterday and then DH took them in hand and told them that I work very hard to make this special for THEM and they all better get their acts together. They were pretty good today. No one was ugly to each other. Since some of them left, others have come and made little comments...I try to just ignore it! This day is for my sons mostly anyway. They're still young and deserve a good Christmas ....four daughters....what was I thinking!!!???!!! Someone is always mad at someone else. It's been years since they all got along! Very sad for any mother. Wishing you well today and hope you can find some peace and joy in it all! Traci~ I'm sure you will find that otterbox as soon as you buy another. Good Morning Maggie Sisters!
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Mine was real nice. Got up and had a little time before Kim let us know Joey was up and ready to open gifts, so we went over there and watched him open his gifts. That boy can zoom through opening gifts like nothing!! Then we came home and watched ds's kids in CO open their gifts (via skype...gotta love skype!). Ater that I was off to the farm for breakfast and had a very nice time out there. It was almost 2pm by the time I got home from there! Just in time to start fixing supper! Everything went smoothly with that, Kim's came over and we ate and gave them their gifts. I was asleep on the couch by 9!! Now I am off today with nothing to do but play with Joey cause his folks both work!

Good morning Maggie Sisters~ I'm so bummed because today was the day I was supposed to be on my way to spend time with my sister in sunny FL. I'm having car trouble so I won't be able to go now. It's overheating and DH replaced the thermostat thinking that would do the trick and it's still overheating. A few months ago we took it to the mechanic to have it pressure tested to see if it was a radiator leak but that checked out fine. Thinking it must be the waterpump. Not too expensive but our mechanic is off for the holidays.....so today, I'm going to drown my sorrow in crafting  Did I mention that it's raining outside and it's supposed to snow. I don't mind that, I love when it snows. But, I was going to go and hit some of the after holiday sales, not going out in the rain with the baby though...too yucky! Oh, well should be a great crafting day.... Have a great day, ladies ~Rebecca

Afternoon, sisters!! Rebecca, so sorry you didn't get to Florida, hope you get things fixed soon. I have to take my car in for some work tomorrow before I head out to GA....maybe we'll pass on the interstate!
We are supposed to get some rain and snow tonight, but not much. Hope evveryone has some time to enjoy the season!

Rebecca, I was finally able to get the pics to post on our purse swap!! I loved it and so sorry to be late with the pics. Between the new phone and new pc, took me a longtime to get them working together!
I still haven't heard anything from Sweets...really hope she is ok!
Put my car in this a.m. to get it serviced and won't get it bak til tomorrow p.m. Not sure if I'll head out to GA then or not.

Gayle Gayle~ Thanks so much! I'm so happy that you liked it. I'm so going to have to steal the photos. I didn't think to photograph it before mailing. It's the only thing that I've made that I didn't get pics of to post on my blog. I hope Sweets is ok too! Waiting to hear from our mechanic about when he can get to my car...uuuggghhh! As far as Joysee, the last couple times I caller her there was no answer and I left messages and she never returned my calls. Hope and pray she is ok.....

I hope that Joysee is okay too. Two of my friends came over to craft last week and one of them wanted a couple of the items I had purchased for the swap. I just RAKed them to her. I gave my sister the handmade item and she really liked it. So, at least a few of the items have found a new home. :)

Wow, they posted like a charm this time!!
Cherie made me a cute Tilda frame, gave me a lot of great items - atg tape, Scooter Tilda, buttons, ribbons, and a Smash Book Kit, perfect to start the new year.
I haven't talked to Cherie, hope she's ok. I'll post some pics of the things I sent to her also. Need to resize them 1st.

Gayle~ Great gifts you got there. I love the frame. I've really gotten into the blue lately. I've always been into neutral, earth tones and red. Yellow is my absolute favorite but lately I've been migrating more and more to the blues. Love it!
Missstamper~ Did you take pictures of your handmade item? I'd love to see what you made if you have some.
