I have a Gypsy but I still enjoy having access to my Cricut handbooks. I have looked around Michaels, Joanns and Walmart and I just can't seem to find anything that I can store them in so I can still have easy access.
What do you guys use? Do you not use them much?

I have my carts and handbooks in the snap ware containers. I still reference my handbooks quite a bit, even with the gypsy, and having my carts there makes it easier when I go to crops as friends can use the cartridges while I use my gypsy.

I have heard of the snap ware but I have not seen them. Which store do you get them at and what size works? Anyone have pictures on their blog. Thanks so much for the help!

I got my snapware containers at M's. I just got the Snapware Ribbon Holders. Here is the blog where I got the instructions from to cut the mesh dividers for the cartridges. It also shows a picture of the storage system. http://splatpat.blogspot...t-cartridge-storage.html

I too must have my handbooks 'handy' while designing. I use more images from different carts that way. I can say that I am starting to like the search feature on the Gypsy, and that is cutting down on my handbook use some. I store all of the real handbooks in my craft closet and I keep my own handbook notebook updated for everyday use. For this notebook, I download the full PDF handbook from PC. Then I reprint it to a color printer, printing 3 handbook pages to 1 real page. I also selectively print the handbook pages, omitting the foreign language pages & misc. stuff I don't want. (These are print options within Acrobat.) Then I add the new print-outs to a 3 ring notebook and separate carts with divider tabs. It works for me. HTH! Good luck! Just before I bought my gypsy, I bought a 3 drawer rolling cart from Js. I organized my handbooks, overlays, and carts together each in it's own custom file folder and filed alphabetically. It is handy to grab a handbook with this system, and had been handy to grab my carts too before my gypsy. With the 3 drawers, I still have lots of room to expand my collection. And I like that it rolls out of the way when not needed.

I have all the handbooks on my IPhone, I use an app called good reader to download and view them on my Iphone. Great app for 99 cents. I also have started using a site called circutsearch.com to look for specific images.

I'm having that problem too. I just bought one of those CGull cart bags and it holds the actual carts great, but doesn't really have a place for the books like I thought it would. I'm trying to find a box or something small enough to be able to fit in the center of the bag.

I bought 2 photo boxes from WM for $5 and I store my handbooks along with the overlay alphabetically. It works for me. I use the Snapware for my carts and file them alphabetically as well.

I use the photo boxes from Ms as well. I think they look great and they are easily alphabetized. I also have the binder. I have many carts downloaded to 8.5 x 11 paper - 6 to a sheet and put them in page protectors. This is great for having them all at once. I also have them all downloaded on my computer. Hmmm, maybe I am obsessed!

My handbooks are in each snapware cartridge containers with the carts. I don't think I've looked at those handbooks a dozen times in the year I've had cricuts. I just view it all from Design Studio, Gypsy and now the Imagine if I want to look at the graphics, fonts and such.

I keep my handbooks and carts in the original boxes and then in jetmax cubes in alphabetical order. That way they're easy to find.

I downloaded the cart books in the pdf file too. I put 10 cart pages on each 81/2 *11 paper, then I put them into paper protectors and added tabs in a binder. I love being able to flip through them to find specific designs. I also put them in alphabetical order so that they are in the same order as on my gypsy. It's easy to transport and store too.

I ordered a snapware container on Ebay for my mom and I. It came with 4 sections, and my mom and I split them into 2. It will hold about 45 Cartridges, the bottom section is getting pretty full. I can't live without my handbooks and don't mind them at all. I would waste so much paper without them. Edited by user Monday, September 27, 2010 8:03:39 AM(UTC)

Jess, I love your grave stone! So funny! I print the back of the handbook off of this site, and carry that around with me in sheet protectors because my eyesite is so bad. I keep the rest of the books in Scrapcessories Cartridge Caddies from Scrapbook.com

I use Snapware and put each handbook and overlay in a folder that someone made a cut file for. I label them with my label maker and alphabetize them.

I keep mine in the original box and then put those into photo storage boxes. They fit perfectly. The only thing is you can't fit a ton of them in one box so if you have a lot of carts they can begin to take up a lot of space but for right now it's working for me. Also a great big THANKS to the creator of CricuitSearch. I just love it!!

I still keep all my carts, overlays and books in the original boxes, alpha order on a book shelf, handy to my Cricut and my desk.
