I had trouble posting photos on the new message board ... I ended up going to the search function at the top and typing in "post photos" and there's a number of very helpful people who have posted instructions.
It's easy when you know how!!

*Type your message
*Check the ATTACH FILES box at the bottom of message area
*Click POST
*This will bring up a BROWSE/UPLOAD option
*BROWSE your computer for your picture
*OPEN it
*UPLOAD it (You can upload several pics, just keep Browsing & Opening & Uploading)
*Click the BACK button (not the arrow)
Your message & picture should post

I was having the same problem but followed a previous post by Larkspur so a big thank you as it worked. It was getting to the point I would have given up on this site or the computer was destined for flying lessons through the window!

If you want your photos to show in your post instead of as a link:
1. type your message
2. click post (when you do, an ATTACH button will appear next to the REPLY, QUOTE, EDIT buttons)
3. click the ATTACH button
4. find and add your picture
5. click post (if it is not too large, your pic will embed in your post)
Or, if you use Photobucket or another photo hosting site, you can use the photo icon (the mountain in the row with the Bold icon) just like on the old MB and your picture will embed in your post.

You need to check ATTACH BEFORE you click POST. The Attach button is at the bottom of the message box just above the Preview, Post, Cancel buttons.
