I was attempting to use CCR, it froze, then crashed my computer, after reboot I was able to open the project, the program froze again then crashed again, when I tried to log in a third time a window pops up upon logging in that says " User already has a project with that name" when I hit ok- it says "accessing your account" and just never gets past this point. The bars on the green "C" keep moving so the screen is not frozen.
HELP!

Did you ever get in? Mine has been doing that too. Don't know why it sits there loading like that but I just close it and start it again and that works. ?? Good luck! Oh! I didn't see that it crashed your computer in the process! I hope you're able to resolve that. I've not had that issue, thank goodness. Edited by user Sunday, September 23, 2012 2:07:40 PM(UTC)

I, too, cannot get past "accessing your account". I have a computer with windows vista and I have have no trouble getting on (other than the computer has some age issues). But my main computer with windows 7 will not let me in. I have installed, uninstalled, added to firewalls, etc to "accept program", turned off all security and firewalls and still nothing. I have in the last 6 months called "support" 2 or 3 times, but I still am not getting anywhere!!!! Anyone out there that can help, I'd love to hear from you.

I guess I can expect this to be a chronic and recurrent problem, huh? The same thing is happening to me. I just want to vent and say that this has to be a most idiotic approach to software design. Why force us to be tied to an internet connect and to operate or not based upon the whim of their obviously-inadequate server? We're already tied into their system, and the software seems pretty useless if you haven't bought all their hardware. I can't wait to hear the massive uproar once they have their first irreversible data loss and people start complaining that their artwork is lost forever.
Sorry for the rant, but it doesn't look like anyone has a solution (I did try the earlier version of software posted in another thread, but I still just got an infinite delay). Since I now obviously have a lot of unscheduled free time...

Someone had posted a link to I guess the web version of the craft room.. I was so excited..I had everything designed and ready to cut.. Nope.. its only the design version. Does anyone know if this is a server issue or software issue? Its 930Pm here so I wouldnt be surprised if it was server issue with everyone getting on to prepare for Monday.. GRRRRRRR Alysia

It is obvious they don't care about the problems their customers are having. Their support and IT department takes 2-3 days to call someone back - WTF - do they only have one support/IT person. Get real. I enjoy my cricut, but when I am in the middle of a project and their crap goes down and I don't have access to the stuff I had been working on for two hours that is just BS! I have decided to make a formal complaint to the BBB so that everyone who is thinking about a cricut will first research and determine if their service is any better or worse than that of Silhouette. Ranting and Furious! I have spent so much money on their product since purchasing in July! Between the machine, mats, cutting needles and cartridges - I have spendt almost $1000.00 in 3 months - only to discover they have the absolute worst software, server and service I have the pleasure of experiencing.

From my understanding the latest version of CCR build 167 has a problem with Windows 7 64 bit machines. I have a Windows Vista 64 bit machine and i have to use build 132 in order to use CCR. I dont know if that can help you or not but that was my remedy for using CCR. I dont know if you have a 64-bit machine or not. Curious II

I am also stuck with "Accessing your account". I have several other CCR issues: a line that cuts through my page, the first cut image comes out all weird looking, and most frequently, it gets stuck at "Checking mat status" and freezes there forever. I have to shut down my Expression 2 AND CCR and restart to cut again. At first, I was able to resolve this a few weeks ago by doing a reset on the Expression 2 itself. I was good to go. Then issue came back. I tried to reset again and that did not help.
I think I will be tweeting and Facebooking this. Perhaps if the word gets out, PC will either fix these issues, or we can warn everyone not to purchase their piece of crap products (and service) and another company can reap the rewards of coming out with something better. I love being a critic and advocate of certain products... and this one is nothing but crap right now.
Come on developers and engineers... can't you figure this stuff out? Also, a courtesy apology email to a DL list of your customers that are registered here or other registries may help to calm us a tiny bit. Right now, we all believe you don't do anything except ignore our posts. Perhaps your call center may need a better Workforce Manager to streamline your staffing hours or you need a better Knowledge Base to answer all of our questions? Who knows? But right now, it seems you are failing...

Curious II I have Win 7 32 bit. Same issues. How do you roll back to previous builds? I'd like to try that...

It might be the build 167 with the Windows 7 version but if you want the earlier version here is the link. . . If you're looking for Build 132 of CCR (to use with the Imagine) here are the links: PC Build 132: http://craftroom.cricut....cricut-craftroom_132.exe Thanks to Narelle again. . . HTH. I had this same issue over the weekend. I disabled my Virus scanning software and it seemed to solve my problem. I haven't tried cutting yet though.

I wrote Emails of Emails on Customers Service, but no anser!!!! A absolutly bad service!!! I can't understand, that no one of CCR give a helping statement or a "excuse me for that trouble". I am realy disappointet. What should we do, that the IT specialist of CCR are responsiv to the many customer with this same problem of CCR? Why takes it month of month and nothing happend? I would sell my Cricut Personel Cutting Maschine with all cartridges on Ebay, but no one will buy that stuff... It's much to expensive without a working software programm.

You might want to think about giving Customer Service a call so they can help troubleshoot the problem with you.
