I already have a cricut but it doesn't take the bigger pages. I actually just started using it and made a card yesterday but could not make the envelope because there was not enough room.
I am thinking about buying the mini because of the price range. Is the only difference having to use your keyboard vs the buttons on the machine? What is the big difference between the mini and the expression? I really cant afford the expression right now.

Spend the extra money & get the Expression! It is a much more versatile machine. You have to either use the CCR (which is not worth the time to use - too many bugs) or a Gypsy. The Expression is a stand-alone machine that you do not have to be connected to something to make it work!

If what you have isn't big enough - the mini would be a waste of money. The Expression cuts 12x12 and 12x24
The mini cuts 8.5 x 12

Spend the extra money and get an Expression!! Believe me you will kick yourself if you don't. While I like my mini, I LOVE my Expression!!!
