I currently have an expression machine that I have been using for a few years now. (I love it). I have Design Studio and several Jukeboxes hooked up to it.
I have been thinking about joining the Craft Room but I want to also use Design Studio when and if the Craft Room goes down or has problems.
Does anyone know if after the firmware is changed to use the Craft Room will I still be able to use my Design Studio?

I have both the E and the E2 and use both DS and CCR without issue. Well, I take that back. I have only had an issue if I have both machines plugged into my computer. Sometimes one software or the other will not recognize the machine so I have to disconnect whichever one I'm not using and restart the one I want.
FWIW, I use DS only with my E and CCR with my E2.

Both DS and CCR are Provoc Craft design programs and the firmware updates will not disable use. If you should have issues, CS will help you work through them.
I've been using CCR exclusively for several months and today needed to cut a file I had made in DS last year and I'm cutting it without problems.
DS isn't compatible with the newer models of Cricut. . .E2, I or Mini, but you should be fine with your E.
