I have a cricut cake machine, but only use it for paper...got it for super cheap. Anyway, the blade housing got taken completely apart (5yr old daughter)thought I had it put back together, but it seems to be getting stuck (the blade).
And also after I put the housing back into the machine it now makes a grinding sound when it returns to the start position. I have had the machine for less than a yr. and it hasn't been used much.

have you been able to solve the problem yet? i have a cricut expression that the housing in the machine makes a grinding sound when it returns to the start position. this machine also has had very little use.
