Imagine my excitement when I saw 10' x 12" rolls of adhesive laminate from Duck Brand at Wal-Mart a few weeks ago. They come in great colors and even a shiny hologram print!
I cut a 12" x 12" square of the hologram print and stuck it face up on my 12" x 12" mat.
The blade is set at 4, the speed is low and the pressure is high.
While cutting, the laminate actually came "unstuck" from its backing and was getting pulled up by the blade and sometimes caught on the roller. The backing was not cut all the way through in some places.
I've been using the same blade since Christmas, so it's possible I need a new blade. But, I also don't use it very much.
Or, perhaps I need to increase the pressure or blade depth and decrease the speed.
Or, maybe I am trying something impossible.
Any suggestions?

When you say face up are you meaning you have the adhesive side up? If so try turning it over.
