I have already broken my Don't Leave the House on Saturday routine by going to Walmart of all places. YUCK!! Even at 8:45 am I had to stand in line even though there were FIVE Open Lanes with NO customers in them. It seems the battery display needed A LOT of attention. Maybe there will be a run of batteries today. Anyway the good news is I got my copy of Hunger Games!! So, the plans for today include 2 layouts that MUST be completed by Monday and to get back to work on my Calling Cards. What's on your To Do List?

Good Morning.
I read all of the Hunger Games books, and when with my girls (who are in their 20's), to see the first movie.
RIGHT NOW, I just opened a website to order Mini-Books!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!
And the car our youngest DD drives would not start yesterday when she was in the Wally's parking lot. DH's brother, who only lives maybe 1/2 mile from Wally's towed it to his house. We live about 20 miles from Wally's. I am sure DH will be working on her car today. We have had the car longer than DD, and she is 23. The poor car has over 250,000 miles on it, and she drives about 120 miles round trip to work every day. I think it is time for youngest to shop for a different car.
And BTW, we live in a VERY rural area, which is why everything is so far away.

Good morning!
I had a great productive day yesterday, and got the basement put back together after our plumbing issues earlier this week. I found a way to cover the hole in the drywall, so I'm happy about that. Actually, with the couple of changes I made because of hiding that hole, the basement looks better! (Although I think I would prefer not to have had a plumbing problem or a hole in my wall.) This morning, I've been puttering around the house (a little cleaning, wrapping a present, a little checking the MB etc. etc.) and now it's time to start getting ready for the wedding shower I'm attending today. My husband already has left the house with our little boy for a "guys day out." I think I'll get to do some errands (unaccompanied!) either before or after the shower, so that's good! Going to the lake on summer weekends is good, but I really love being home.
Hope you all have a great day!
Karen

Karen, I have been reading of your plumbing issue. How miseable! Glad you are getting put back together.
I ordered Mini-Book, but not where I intended to order it. The first place was out of stock (I knew I should have ordered it yesterday!), so I went to trusty ebay and bought it.

Today is the first day IN FOREVER that I've been able to actually sit at my craft area - this new APPLE COMPUTER job has taken up all of my time the past four weeks.
I'm having to apply quite a few updates to my machines - it seems the new PC website has taken shape - things are loading on my MacBook Air just fine now - not my iPhone, but baby steps I guess.
I hope to "Cricut" today and tomorrow -
Now if only the codes were GONE!

I'm supposed to be exercising right now, but feeling much too lazy at the moment.
Other plans for today are to finish up a couple of albums I started this week or at least work on them some more.
That mini books cartridge looks fun! It's funny because just the other day I was thinking of posting a new Cricut cartridge suggestion with various mini album cuts, so it's just what I had in mind!

I'm not sure if I'm late for the Hello Saturday morning post or early for Sunday! lol!
We got up early, fed Cooper some breakfast and headed to Arkasas to take him home. Over 12 hours later, I'm finally home. Long, long day.
I did get to go to Signed, Sealed and Delivered annex as well as their shop on the way. They were having a paper sale at the annex so I picked up about 200 sheets of heavyweight double sided paper for only 10 cents per sheet! I'll share it with Okieladybug. They also had Glimmer Mist, Glam and some other liquid stuff 5 bottles for $10 so I called her and picked up some of those for her.
Now, I'm going to take off my shoes, kick back in my easy chair and rest until Monday! Keeping a toddler wore me out---and I loved every minute of it!

I am hoping to get a wrapped copy of The Hunger Games tomorrow w a big bow on it...I even emailed DH and told him that was all I wanted for my bd. KNowing my luck I will be buying it for myself on Monday. Spent some time fixing my hair emergency today - went to the salon on Thurs and for whatever reason my hair didn't take the red as well as we wanted and it turned a bit pink! So went back today for a correction and she even did a brow and lip wax for free. It didn't look bad, it just looks better now Tomorrow is lake day for us and we are taking shish-ka-bobs to grill on the beach. It amazing how many friends you make when you have left over food :) I am off work on Monday and plan to sleep late!!!! YAY!!!! Hope everyone had a great day ~~Carrie
