Sorry I have been in and out for a few months! My DH went back to work on Monday! My daughter and her family are still here, which makes it hard to craft, but I will try my hardest to find a little bit of time! Hugs to all!!!!

DeeScraps, I absolutely LOVE those colors!!! Good choice this week! Those colors are GORGEOUS!!! Thanks for posting the ad colors! I actually had free time Monday morning since my DH went off to work, and my GK didn't come out until 11:00 am, which is rare! I took advantage of that time and hurried and made a card! Is anyone else having problems logging in??? I am having a heck of a time! I have to go a round of about way to log in every time! I thought I would never have gotten to post these sketches last night! Sketch 1! SandyPalmer attached the following image(s):

Sandy - Nice to see you back on here and posting. I know how difficult it is for you to get time to play these days. Love the sketches and thanks to Dee too for the ad colours. Logon was difficult today, must be this new style. I too couldn't get on yesterday either. Hope Bingolady is doing fine, please give her my love NanaDonna and Turtlebug when you see her. I had that op twice and as long as you don't over do it all will be well.
Sandy - Love the blue Birthday Card, I think I have paper like your background paper in my stash. Nice touch with the ribbon and a cute image. SueOh No we have gone back to that stupid security image thing.

I got the date wrong for this Birthday Card it's this Friday and not next!! So I needed to get to it. I used sketch #3 The background paper is years old, one of those you can't ever remember why you picked it up. The image and tag text along with the group of handbags were free with a magazine. The card is for a 17 year old so should be suitable. I have just noticed it goes with the ad colours too. Colours look a little dark, afraid it is bouncing down outside and I have the lights on and its only 4.30pm!! good old blighty weather eh. TFL Sue.

Sue, you couldn't have picked a more perfect sentiment for that image! Your card is so cute! Love that image! Is it a stamp? NanaDonna, I feel so out of the loop! Happy to hear that BingoLady's surgery went well! What kind of surgery did she have? I will pray for continued healing for her!

Hi Ladies! Since school is back in session here in Tucson, I thought I would make all my sketches wih a sports theme for my Birthday cards. Lots of soccer, football and baseball played around this neck of the woods(er, I mean desert)!
My #1 Sketch Card: Scalloped Ovals - Spellbinders Tag - Spellbinders Embossing - CuttleBug "Stars" folder Sentiment - Rubber Stamp from Michael's Background Paper - From "Me and My Big Ideas" Stack, All Sports mambi sheets. It is in red foil and very old-fashioned looking. I cut the red oval from plain red foil cardstock and embossed it and added silver-trimmed ribbon. I cut the tag out of silver metallic cardstock and stamped it with Stazon ink. TFL!! Edited by user Wednesday, August 15, 2012 5:26:10 PM(UTC)

My #2 Sketch Card in the Ad Colors:
Sentiment - Jubilee Cartridge Hearts - Friskars Corner Punch Scalloped Circles - Lacy Labels Cartridge Embossing - Darice "Hearts" Folder Added pink bling to hearts and a ribbon to the pink border. I purposely used the negative side of the embossing, cause I wanted the hearts facing from left to right. TFL!! Edited by user Wednesday, August 15, 2012 6:22:41 PM(UTC)

Very nice youthful feel on your second sketch card! I have to say, your basketball card is my favorite! I love everything about it! Perfect touch with the little banner going across the front! TrishaHanson, such a pretty card from last weeks sketches! Such lovely soft colors! Donna, thanks for the heads up on Lydia!!! Sketch 2, and the ad colors for this week! Sandy - What is wrong with your card? Nothing... it is quite lovely, great vintage feel. Like the folded ribbon and the image is very pretty and perfectly coloured in. Trisha - Lovely cool card for last weeks #3, cute image too. Turtlebug - You were on a roll yesterday but I see you have "places to go and people to see" so I don't blame you. All 3 are great, love the all stars paper, great soccor card and I think my favorite is the basket ball card too. Love the embossing on the ball a great touch. Thanks for the postal address. Joanne - Lovely card for fall, tumbling pumpkins cute. NanaDonna - That is such a lovely card and WOW to your hand drawn mannequin. Sandy - I just love the image on the card, reminds me of when my two sisters and I took my Mum for a spar treat for her 50th Anniversary (left Dad behind reading the paper lol) don't think we look that good though. Love the flourish at the top of the card and the sentiment is so funny. You picked the whole theme just right. SueEdited by user Friday, August 17, 2012 12:32:33 PM(UTC)

Ladies,
BingoLady is doing better, mostly alot of expected pain. Says she is really nauseated and not able to eat. Hopefully, she will get to go home on Saturday. She wanted me to thank everyone for her, for the prayers and get-well wishes.Edited by user Friday, August 17, 2012 10:31:59 PM(UTC)

[size=6]I'm glad to hear that Bingolady is doing well. Dealing with pain is not fun but if everything else is as it should be, that's great news. Hubby is doing much better after his operation last week. Don't know if anyone saw the post, but he had work on his sinuses and had his deviated septum fixed. Hopefully this will take care of his chronic sinus infection. Is anymone else having a problem like this...when I click on a photo that is attached the way that Sandy does her photos, it doesn't make it larger but smaller?I finished one card today. Most of the papers are from an older stack of Debbie Mumm Holiday Papers. The stamped image is from My Favorite Things, as are the Corner and Fishtail dies. The image is cut out and glued to the kraft oval which I also ran through the Cuttlebug. There's two layers on the dress and the kraft oval and biggest Fishtail are popped. Everything is antiqued with a brown ink. Thanks everyone.....have a good weekend. Dee[size] (I have to type in the code at least twice before it will work.) Deescraps, Thanks for the Ad Color Challenge this week. I love this color-combo, it always reminds me of my daughters' room when she was small and this was her color palette. Glad your DH is doing better and best of all breathing alot easier. #1 - Very pretty, so much work went into creating this card and it shows! Love, love the BG paper and she is so cute holding that humongous pumpkin!!
Sandy #1 - LOVE the image, the hair is awesome and the pretty dress so glittery. Great in the AC, like the inking around the edges. #2 - Very pretty AC card, like the inking on the doily. And, how you folded the ribbon, very creative (will have to scraplift). Pretty flower and awesome coloring, too!
AcrossThePond #3 - So CUTE!! Great image, love the tag in place of the circle and the BG paper with all the Ad Colors for this week is perect.
TrishaHanson Last Weeks' #3 - Like the soft BG colors, and then the bright flower against the crisp white really pops. Very nice!
joanneorbash #2 - Nice Fall card, like the border with the pumpkins all lined up and the perfect Fall colors.
NanaDonna #1 - Very nice card on the flipped side. LOVE that CB folder with the tiny flowers (have wanted to buy it but have never been able to find it anywhere, hope it hasn't been discontinued). Like the bling all around, and the dress form image.

Dee, That's kinda strange, hasn't happened to me. But, after this week and all the strange going-ons with this MB it could still happen. Hopefully, everything will be back to normal REAL SOON!
Sandy, Sorry I missed your cute Bubble Bath card. Love the flourish (which cart??) and the bubble paper. She sure seems to be enjoying her Spa time!
