My "craft room" per say has a sewing machine, serger, computer, printer etc - bureau with fabric etc and three drawer plastic unit and STUFF - hard to even get in. My embroidery machine is on a 4' table in the front room and E is on a TV tray. I have a milk crate with some of my solid papers in there along with 3 12X12 small plastic boxes. One shelf in the hall holds more paper packs but not too many as the pegs that hold the shelves are small and have made the shelf fall. I have a few stacked on the floor next to the shelf. Am ordering an over the door shelf for some of my carts (think it holds 50) My ribbon rack is on the floor in craft room, the other is still in my trunk. Bought wood and had it cut to shelf size, but need to stain and hang. NEED HELP - ANY TAKERS? Edited by user Sunday, August 26, 2012 7:05:45 PM(UTC)

I don't have a craft room .... every time I want to craft, I have drag boxes out of the closet and my Exxpression and Cuttlebug (which are in wheeled totes) out of the closet, and haul it all into my therapy office and spread it out all over the therapy tables and the floor. THen when I am done, (except on Saturday nighT) I have to put it all away before I can leave the room so that I can work on people the next morning. This is a real big DRAG !! But, I have no other options at the moment. I have been comtemplating renting a storage unit and setting up a craft room down there. It would cost about $75.00 a month though, and I think DH will say "no"....

JCI. saying hello to kelley. haven't touch this swap. with being away and this storm. not much room for crafting at the moment. the rain hasn't stopped this yesterday. we are trying to keep the water from getting in. running a pump on my deck as long as we have power.

My partner and I have been emailing -- we both will probably not start this project until after Labor Day. Got a few ideas running around in my head - one for a project I have never done before.

Hi to all~
Hi Jean~
Just wanted to let you know that my ideas are all FINALLY taking shape. Have all the things I want to do planned out and ready to go. Have to wait till Wed. to buy some things that I'll be needing to complete the items that I'm going to do. But I should have it all finished up by the end of the week. YAY!!!

Yours in the middle of swaps looks a lot cleaner than mine right now!! I'll have to go take a picture of it this afternoon. I spent all day yesterday with the kiddos in daycare cleaning out the basement to make room for a couch/loveseat my parents are bringing. It's amazing how much stuff we had down there...I figured out how to get another bookshelf down there for craft stuff though. I inherited my Grandma's craft stuff when she passed away a few months ago and didn't have a place to put it until now. I'm about halfway through it now so hopefully I'll be able to actually craft down there again soon!

Here are some pictures of mine. My work area is between the wooden shelves. There is a counter and draws underneath. The shelf above where my computer is, goes around the corner to another window and holds more of my stuff. It has a long table under it that I have my machines on and use the ohtter half for cutting & arranging. I also have a full closet but only use half for most of my paper. I love seeing the craft rooms! Jean yours look so neat and organized! Actually, they all look neat and organized. Here is mine, I share this office/scrap room with my husband so this is just my side of the room. As soon as my camera decides to come out of hiding then I will take pics of my room! Its a mess right now!  I will be leaving on friday to go camping and won't be back until monday! So hopefully it decides to show its self before then!

Love the pictures of the craft rooms. JeanP~ That is quite possibly the cleanest craft room I've ever seen. Mine is usually a mess unless I've got nothing to work on or we're having company. Mine has no doors so I have to keep it relatively clean when we've got company coming. Pam~ I love yours too. Wish we had an Ikea nearby. JCI! My two little ones have been sick (again!!!) I'm so over everyone in the house feeling cruddy. I love the pictures of the scrap areas! If our house ever sells, I'll have my own little crafty space. But for now, the floor will have to do. lol

My youngest one continues to get some type of congestion junk every few months. He'll be on an antibiotic for a bit and once it clears up it is back within a matter of weeks.  He then passes it to his brother just about every time.

Scrappin'momma - Sorry to hear that your kids are sick!  I hate it when my kids are sick and now that school has started i'm sure my kids will get sick! In fact my daughter is complaining of a sore throat tonight and they just started school on monday!  I'm very happy! I got my original name back on the board didn't get anything else back but oh well! At least I got my name back! I called PC today again and the lady I talked to helped me out! So just a word of warning for everyone that the lady I talked to today at PC said that from now on when you change your email address you will have to start all over with a new name and start at 0 on posts so don't change your email addy unless you have to! I asked her why are they doing that and she said thats just how its set up now! I'm leaving to go camping on friday afternoon and won't be back until sometime on monday! So I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday weekend!

Some great craft rooms/area's, JeanP I love the shelf's in your room, my DH would probably kill me if I hung shelf's on the walls of our new house. I could definitely use something to hold all my paper, I just can't stop buying it. Luckily I have a three day weekend so I can do some crafting, I have lots to make, I think I'll be surfing Youtube.
