A friend of mine asked me if I would do a scrapbook for her, I told her YES! She asked how much: I was going to say $3 a page if they provide paper & $5 if I have to purchase paper. Is this too much or not enough? I mean she is a friend, but I also want it to be worth my time.  Candi

I think I would give her the price for the whole album instead of per page...and it also depends on how detailed the scrapbook would be. Hope I helped some.

I agree I would do it for the album instead of per page. Maybe charge $2-$5 more if you plan on being detailed and use lots of embellishments.

Thanks for the help....but how do you charge by album if you dont know how many pages or how much embellishments you are going to do?? I will be doing an album about her brother that has passed away. ~Candi

I know some people that do these types of albums. They usually charge $5 per page and make the customer supply the embellishments. I think that's a little much but I don't think $5 per page including embellishments is bad at all.

Wow I would be money ahead if I hired you to do my pages. I rarely can create a page for that is supplies let alone my time and we all know that those who don't scrap have no concept of how much time and how difficult it can be to scrap for others.
