How can I get the cricut to join letter together?

You'll need to use one of the Cricut design programs... Cricut Craft Room, (which is free) Cricut Design Studio (which you purchase but is not being made any more and is getting hard to find in stores now - the link will take you to where you can download the trial version) or a Cricut Gypsy (on sale at Cricut.com at the moment for $149.) Regardless of which you choose, you will still need to own the cartridge that the font comes from. And you currently can't use fonts from your computer, only those that are on Cricut cartridges.
