What's the weather like this time of year up that way?
I gotta remember to pack my camera tomorrow! My cousin called and asked if I could ride with her up to uh..heck I forgot the town, but it is like an hour west of Chicago, to go get her son and his girlfriend this weekend. We are leaving tomorrow afternoon and will be back Sunday. I am not one for long car rides because most people drive too slow. But the good thing is that my cousin doesn't like to drive that much and I don't like to ride. So I will probably do most of the driving LOL.
At least I will have some new pictures to scrapbook from the ordeal! *okie knows she has some pictures to scrapbook but she can always use more*

Hey Okie, I'm from central Illinois. I'm about 2-3 hours south the Chicago. The weather was nice today. In the upper 80's. Will you get to do any shopping while your over this way? Okay so guess just pack a few things that I would wear here at home then. I just didn't want to pack shorts and freeze to death, or pack pants and burn up! LOL
Won't have time for shopping. Not even sure if she is going to let us stop for bathroom breaks. I believe something about catheters was mentioned.......

Okie, if your coming up 55 in Illinois you will be going thru Springfield and there is a great lss there. Take Stevenson exit west 3 or 4 blocks and it will be on your right. Okie... tomorrow night it is suppose to be 52 degrees in Chicago... I would take a sweatshirt at least. This part of the country the weather can change often. ; D

My hubby's working in Chicago right now (we live about an hour away, in NW Indiana) and tomorrow night it's supposed to be in the 40's they said. During the day, the high is 70 and we're supposed to have scattered showers...that's what ABC 7's Jerry Taft said anyway!  Have a safe trip! Chicago(and even our suburbs) is fun!

Hey Okie. Traci is right, it's gonna rain tomorrow and the temp is gonna drop. I'm south of Chicago about 20 miles. it's 12:20 AM now and the temp is already starting to drop. Drive Safe but have fun.

I live suburban Chicago. Are you going to rockford/DeKalb?
This is directly from the National Weather service for the area
Windy. Showers early with clearing later in the day. High 69F. Winds WSW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 40%. Higher wind gusts possible.
Saturday and Sunday in the mid 60's and sunny.

I'm in Naperville which is approximately 45 minutes west of Chicago. Tomorrow it's supposed to be cool but nice - a high of 65 degrees. Happy travels!! There's several universities and colleges around here so you're probably going to be real close!
