Very new to all this (as you can tell!!).. Got cable to link my Create machine. Did my first
project but when I clicked on 'cut' was told can only design, not cut, and need to install
driver. What is this, where do I get it.
Please help the new girl!!

Joyce First, make sure you're using the Desktop version of CCR, not the Web version. You access the Desktop version from an icon on your desktop. You can download the desktop version from here: http://www.cricut.com/craftroom/default.htmlYou'll need to update the firmware on the Create first. Don't do that from within CCR. Instead, download the trial version of Design Studio and update it from there. Here's the link to the DS trial version: http://www.cricut.com/cds/Update.aspx(Make sure you don't have CCR open.) Click the first download button on that page. Once it's installed open it up (click the continue in trial mode button) and select Help, Update Cricut Firmware. Be sure to select the Create as the machine to be updated and follow the instructions there. You may need to do the update twice. Make sure you turn your Create off before you start the 2nd update. Once that's done, go back to CCR (close DS) and try to cut. If you still get the driver message, select Help, Install Drivers. You will have to select the Expression driver.
