I am trying to cut a letter 23" in length. My expression keeps telling me it will not fit. I have it on portrait and using a 12 x 24 mat. Any suggestions? I am also new this all this only have had it for 3 months.

Once it gets past approx 11.75" wide the Cricut can't cut it. Here's what a 23" inch tall letter g looks like on the mat. The only way you can get your letters to be that tall is to use one of the Cricut design programs: Cricut Craft Room (which I used to make the screen shots), a Gypsy, or Cricut Design Studio. Each of those programs allows you take adjust the width of your objects independently of the height. Edited by user Thursday, July 26, 2012 12:29:16 PM(UTC)
