Hello Ladies...

I've done severeal of these and love the look. Been in a few swaps on a few other boards making these and they are so easy and a joy to make.

SO...I thought I would open a swap making them here....any interest?

THere is a die that cuts the size you need for these but not sure where to buy them....I bought mine from SU a while back. SIZE for these are....on average 2.5 x 4......so you could buy them at an office supply store and add chipboard to the back for reinforcement and then alter.

You will make 5 ....send ME 4 of them and 1 is for YOU....have them weighed and use that much in STAMPS ONLY to put inside for returns PLUS 3 xtra stamps...I will return what is not needed

THEME will be....VINTAGE/SHABBY CHIC

They need to be all the same as much as possible. Placed in a baggie with the info inside...name/boardname and swap name.

DUE DATE~~~~~OCTOBER 22

Due date for me would be either end of sept or oct if I decide to join :-) I first have to find the shape. I use to have a punch that would do it for you.

Hello Ladies...

Laura...Shabby CHic is more of whites/lt pinks/mint greens...in colors...
Vintage....is more of antique items...old..timeless...detailed frames..pearls..old lace..etc

You can use them on layouts or on cards....they are like a ATC kind of.....

Osheasmom.....I hope that the above answers your questions too..hon. if not let me know...

I know you can buy the rolodex cards at an office supply store...Staples...etc...and just alter them...that works too.

I can't join just now, but if it is 10/10 or later due date, I would be able to (sorry, other commitments I know I need to fill). If it closes sooner, I sure hope that everyone posts pics of their cards - vintage/shabby chic is always sooo much fun!

Here are some photos - my plain jane rolodex - still planning to embellish with a garden theme, but I am using it to track dates and other small pieces of info. I gave away all my fancy ones as gifts. I use the cards also to record various websites and techniques.

Would work as an address file too :P

JCI -- noted the changes in the swap. Rolodex swaps are one of my favorite as they something charming to have on my desk. I am trying to have my desk look pretty instead of like a catch-all. It makes me feel more creative and I don't get so messy and unorganized. Thanks for hosting Rhonda. Can't wait to see what you'll come up with for your next swap. You have great ideas.

This is going to be my next priority. I still need to go buy the cards but have an idea how to i want to embellish them. I hope they are as good in real life as they are in my head.
