The top row of my original cricut isn't working. No lights, no nothing, no one is home! I was wondering if I connect my machine to my laptop, will I be able to use the top row of my machine and use the images and numbers from my cartridges? Everything else works great. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If you use Design Studio or Cricut Craft room, then yes, you'd be able to design on your laptop and cut to your Cricut that way. Is your cricut still in warranty? If it is, you should call PC and see if there's anything they can do. If not, then software is the only way you'll be able to cut with the top row unfortunately.

That's what I though. I'm going to have to check into the Design Studio. I've just used the cartridges in the past but I'd like to use my cricut more often now. I'll look into some software programs. Thanks for your help!
