I was given a cake cartridge in a drawing at Michaels but I only have the original Cricut can I use it in this machine?

I have all the cake cartridges and use them all the time in my cricut. Love the cuts on them many borders, and so elegant. I do alot of cards. Edited by user Sunday, August 19, 2012 2:45:25 AM(UTC)

Newbie here, feeling my way and have a TON of fun doing it. Question: do the cake cartridges cut the same materials as the regular cartridges? I'm thinking they likely, in which case all I can say is How Kewl Is That?!!
