Hi girls. :) I am looking into purchasing the Cricut Mini. I see it says you connect it to your computer and use it with the free Cricut work space software. If I wanted to make vinyl cutouts like names and such would I have to purchase font cartridges?
TIA :)

Yes. All the Cricuts are cart based. Cricut Craft Room allows you to design, weld, stretch, skew and otherwise manipulate the images that are on Cricut carts {or the digital versions}. You need to own the physical cart or the cutting rights to the digital images to be able to cut from CCR.
