Hi Everyone!
So this would be the first time I really ever createed anything big on my cricut. I'm still in the process of gettting to know the thing, so my question is my son turns one at the end of the month. I am trying to do a Mickey mouse themed birthday for him. I do not have the money right now to buy the mickey fonts cartridge so i was wondering how do i make mickey heads on my cricut with out having to glue the ears on to the head? Am I able to piece three circles together in the craft room and have them cut out in one piece on my machine? Please help me! Thanks
Mandy

It can be done. Basically you would put three circles on the mat in CCR, size, place and weld. There are lots of tutorials on YouTube. Just go there and search for Cricut Craft Room and welding. Here's one tutorial I found: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4g3053xpJwI've made Hello Kitty heads using the welding feature in Design Studio, and scrapallete has shared a CCR cut of one she made in CCR. scrapallete will probably jump in here and provide either a CCR file for you or a screen shot of a Mickey type head using CCR. She's awesome like that. HTH Mary.

I'm here! Can I help? Mary is correct in that you can weld the 3 circles to make a Mickey head. If you can't get it to work, I can make a file for you!
