After owning and operating my own business these past 6 years I am down to only three more weeks until I'm FREE!

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

I've made the decision to retire (again) by the middle of October and spend my time doing what I want, when I want.

More time to use my E and maybe learn a few new tricks in papercrafting. Now I can go to some of the LSS's and take some classes and participate in some of their open crops, etc.!

My plan is to use so much of the paper and other supplies that I have on hand that I'll actually NEED to go to HL or M's! LOL LOL LOL


Only 10 more days! And of those ten I only have to work 4!

Unfortunately, the sale of the business fell through so I'm selling down my inventory and closing as I had planned on October 15th.

Woo-Hoo! I'm really excited about moving on to another stage of my life!

Well that sounds exciting!!!!!

DH is considering retirement. Then, he will have to find a new job so I can keep crafting. BigGrin

And oh, he is only 52.

Congrats!! I can see it now you and Okie in the papers for some mischief you've done. Enjoy your retirement and good luck with using your stuff there is always a reason to go to HL and M's for something. Their paper always seems cuter than what I have at home.

My husband also retired at age 52. He had worked long, hard hours for the same company for 33 years. Friends told me that guys like him didn't last too long after they retired.

He took to retirement like a pig to mud! LOL! And that was nine years ago!

He intended to take another job or start his own small business but just hasn't gotten around to it. He works part time for some friends and that keeps him occupied.

I totally agree. Even their solid color cardstock looks as if it may be a color I don't have!

Okie still has to work! So, she can't get into too much trouble--at least during the school year! LOL LOL

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the shop will sell so I don't have to hassle with closing it out.

If John's still with Xcaliber, Mickey might not like him crossing over into his territory! You know how guys are about their turf! LOL!

Hope you guys are doing well. And, yes I will be in and out of Tulsa more often. I much prefer to shop there rather than OKC. It's a lot farther to T-town but so much easier to get around in and they have so many more neat stores.

Can't wait to check out the Whole Foods Market that opened up over there!
