Ive been trying to do some research on cricut mini. I have no idea what I'm doing! I purchased this to cut some vinyl letters to place in a window of a car. I purchased it off ebay and I am waiting to recieve the cords that I need to get going with it. Here is my confusion: #1 Do I need to purchase cartridges to cut? #2 I am looking for times new roman font and have no clue where to find it. Any help is much appreciated!  Thank you!

You will need carts {cartridges} to cut with. There are over 200 Cricut fonts on various carts. Go to Narelle's blog and download her Cricut Font Reference to see a sample of all the Cricut fonts and what cart they are on: http://myfaqcricutds.blo...om/p/cartridge-info.htmlThere is a free font in the Craft Room Basics in CCR.

This seems very overwhelming to me. I dont know acronyms either (ccr?). Feel completely lost to do one task I thought was going to be fairly quick and painless. Thanks for the reference.

Ccr= Cricut craft room. Its an online craft room that you make your designs, hook your mini to your computer and press cut. You have to have a computer AND Internet or the mini does nothing.  hope that helps some.

Thanks and yes it does help some! Everyone has been awesome trying to help! I have a computer and internet and I think I am a little bit farther along in knowledge than I was 24 hours ago! Also thanks to Narelle in the above mentioned blog. She emailed me last night and helped tons too!
