My son is a Marine, and I'm having fun making little marines for his scrapbook. Thought there might be other moms/wives/friends of Marines who might like to see these. They could also be made into cards for them...Enjoy! I just added another picture, I have made some of the different ranks for fellow Marine Moms, and made PFC's, Lance Corporals, Corporals, and Sargents so far. I have a request for a Captain so I need to figure out how to do the visor... Edited by user Thursday, September 27, 2012 11:57:41 PM(UTC)

Your Marine paper dolls turned out way better than mine! When I told my son I was making Marines for his album, he replied "Mom, only DIs (drill instructors) can make Marines." Thanks for sharing your paper dolls. Thank your son for his service for me!

Thank you!! Please thank your son for his service, from me as well! He is right of course, about the DIs making Marines, lol! I just can't wait to show my son what I have been up to. He hasn't seen them yet...but I might bring them to my next Marine Mom's event next Saturday and I may have to make another "batch!" LOL! I experimented and made one with bling...a lot more putzy, but it does look sharp with the bling, and with shiny shoes and a shiny visor/brim on their "cover"...

These are great. I was planning on making EGAs for our Christmas tree this year as we have decided this year's theme will be USMC. I was thinking there were some EGAs in the Stand and Salute cartridge, but not cigar. Do you have any suggestions for me? Thanks Beth

Those are just darling. I love them - Thanks to all the Men/Women of the armed services!!!
My brother was a former Marine - and I think these are perfect for his basic training photo.
Great job.

My step-son is going in, in June of next year they already have his ship date for him after he is done with high school in May. He is so ready to be shipped out.
Sorry I can't see the picture's without having to download them and I don't download anything.
