I bought the primer book by Isela Phelps and eagerly started the first hat, the "simple hat", it worked up beautifully, was very happy until I got to the instructiong for the crown. I have seen the decreased stitch done and I understand how to do it but when I see the decrease done it doesn't seem to fit her instructions. Can someone explain this?
Move every third stitch over one space to the right. 24 stitches remain with 2 loops on each peg. So at one time you move the stitches? You start with the peg to the right of the anchor peg and count three?
12 pegs empty? I had thirteen.
In single stitch knit over 2 over 1 on all pegs. this is where you would use the working yarn to e wrap your loom?
I have looked on her site as well as the net and this is not really explained. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't gotten that far on the hat. Still in the beginner stages...why don't you try and email Isela from her website, I bet you she'll answer!

Unfortunately I started with her. She had several of the same request but I found no response so I left her a message. Going now to see if there is a response. I have been all over the net and can find nothing about this decrease in stitches technique. I even tried the hat again an still can't figure it out.
