I have had my original cricut for many years now (bought it when they first came out) and this is first time I have had a problem. It was working fine then when I told it to cut an L, the cricut cut two wavy lines. I canceled the cut and unloaded the paper. The next time I tried to reload paper it would not load. I have reset following the instructions on this forum and I even called customer support. He did not know what was wrong and suggested that maybe I try to update through Design Studio. He emailed me two documents: how to download cricut design studio and how to download cricut design studio trial version. I don't have the necessary cable so I will have to go buy one and he didn't say which one should download, so my questions are: -any ideas how to fix? -do you think it is time for me to upgrade? -if desgn studio can fix it should I do the trial or standard version? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Needed to cut 50 bridal shower cup cake toppers for this weekend...
