...that I could turn off the fade in/fade out thing that happens when I move my cursor over the different forums or over the different topics within a forum...
And I wish I could change the way the screen is displayed - the color scheme, to be exact. To be honest, the pale green and gray combination is very difficult for me to read. Actually, the whole screen is difficult for me to read easily with these old eyes (and my glaucoma)...
Other than that, I like the new design. It is more like some of the other boards I visit regularly. But they all allow me to change the screen style to colors that work for me.

Amen to that! The fade is killing my eyes! I was hoping there was a way to adjust it for each user. I am going to have to play around.

I don't much care for the gray background, but I do like the green better than the pink on the Circle MB. Personally, I'd prefer to have a white background, but I know that would be way too bright for many others. However, if the default printing were a true black, instead of a dark gray, that would really help. (just my thoughts)

The fade thing is annoying, IMO.
I don't care for the striped posting fields, either. Visually, it's very confusing. There are already multiple stripes/break-lines between posts (the thin darker gray and white stripes/lines). Alternating the colors of the posting fields is just distracting.
There's also too much blank space at the bottom of each post (most of the time, though not always, and I can't figure out why it's hit or miss!). I can only fit 2-3 posts on my screen at a time, and I have a very large screen. Lots of scrolling going on around here!
I wish I could permanently set (maybe in My Profile) the font size for both posting and reading.
Other than these very minor issues, though, I really like this new board.Edited by user Wednesday, September 22, 2010 7:18:15 AM(UTC)

So it's not just me? Heck, I'm even bolding my print so I can read it. That grayish color is so darned light that I have to lean way in just to see the print.

The dark gray is hard on your eyes. Mine are getting fatigued. I have good eyesight. My heart goes out to all of you who are struggling. I would love to be able to change the default font size.

Lots of scrolling going on around here! i believe the amount of space after the text depends on how much 'stuff' is in the left hand column of that person's post (their avatar and membership information). i've noticed it too.

Mine doesn't do a fade. Wonder why(although I'm glad it doesn't).
I don't like the font color either. Very hard to read the green on grey. Then when people use pink or something, it really attacks the eyes! Plain old B&W would be so much better. People can adjust the brightness on their own screen then.
Other than the colors, I like the new MB.
