I would love to have a forum on the new boards where we could start petitions, for Provo Craft to review. You know, for example you might ask for a new feature on the Gypsy like Select All. Anyone interested in the Petition could add to the post. And yes PC, I would love a Select All feature. They could even add a button if they wanted like the Thanks, only Vote Yes, Vote No.
My first petition would be to request a "sales" day. The new board says no sales or soliciting, but my customers are Cricut users and the old message board was a valuable tool. I am not competing with PC. Could we just limit the sales to one day a week, in the Product Reviews and Deals forum? Anyone who visits that forum, would realize add day is the same day every week and could avoid the forum that day if they don't want to see adds. We could also put "Ad" in our Title post. I belong to a couple of Yahoo groups and this is how they had advertisement by members.
Thanks for listening to my request! Clare

I rather members keep there sales off the site. Blogs work well.

I do not mind the sales at all. If anything, PC gets more of my money as I discover tons of things that are great deals that I didn't know I needed. And the petition forum is a great idea, too! The vote button sounds nifty!

I don't like having to wade through people trying to sell things.

We wouldn't have to wade through anything we didn't want to read. Forewarned is forearmed. I like both ideas. Under the new rules, I believe all selling/trading would have to be PC products only. Still, I'm always open to deals on carts and wouldn't mind checking out a Sell/Trade thread/forum once a week. Edited by user Wednesday, September 22, 2010 7:19:42 AM(UTC)

I think its fine its all money one way or another in Provocrafts pocket and you don't have to visit that topic or sub category if you are not interested.

Provocraft did say that the format on the new board was "non-negotiable" - what is here is what you get.

I personally wouldn't mind an "Ads only" area - only because I don't have connections with any group/company. It was nice to learn about specials, and not have to search all over the blogs. If it wasn't for this messageboard I would never shop anywhere but J/M/HL. I've enjoyed learning about other companies like SU or CTMH, and yes I have spend more on PC products because of the new ideas I see. But whatever PC wants is fine.

How do we find out what the "new" rules are? This is my first time on the new board...it makes me wonder, what else is different that I don't know about?

When you first came over and set up your new account you had to agree to the new rules. Not sure were to find them now. Its a LONG list of new stuff

I like your idea also. I like it when someone makes a card and tells the supplies they used to make it. The cartridge, the brand of stamp, where to purchase it, type of glitter or other items. I would not have all the Provo Craft things if I had not been given other ideas of things to use with them.
