Okay, I am the ultimate deal shopper, I try to never pay full price for my crafting supplies (note I said try... sometimes it's unavoidable! lol). Today I stopped at joanns, and headed straight for my favorite section (clearance in case you need to ask, LOL). I found Hello Kitty Greetings - it was there two weeks ago when I was in too. It was marked at $24.95, the same price it was two weeks ago. Good deal I know, but I didn't think I needed it bad enough to buy it this week... but... I figured it couldn't hurt to have them scan it and see how much it rang up at right? $9.97!! I now own HKG!!!

Wow you lucky duck. I don't think my Joann's has a clearance section. It's so small and they keep all carts in the back. Have fun with your new cart!

I'd heard that both Hello Kitty carts, Sesame Street, and a couple other older carts were on clearance for $9.97. My J's didn't have any left in stock. :( That's ok - I ordered Hello Kitty font for $15 from Creative Express!

Great deal! My cousin found hers for $15 at Target, of all places. She said a bunch were on clearance a while back and then disappeared. HK seems to be a popular one for great deals.

That was a great deal! The clearance section is my favorite part of their store too. Ours is a small store and doesn't carry cricut items

Great deal! I too found a couple of carts marked $24.97 but took them to the front. They rang up $9.97 also. They were Fabulous Finds and Happily Ever After. My DD doesn't even like princesses anymore, but there are some other really cute sayings and cuts so it is definitely worth it!

WOW ... now how SWEET was that!!! I need to start doing that. I tend to take things at face value, and if I saw a tag that had the price on it, I would assume that to be the price. Guess it pays to at least have an item scanned! Thanx for the idea.
