This is my third cricut, but my first mini and I'm rather disappointed by the quality of my cuts. There is always trailing tails on all cuts, usually going into the die and not the scraps. They are all nice clean cuts, no shredding, but not precise. I also have a big problem getting the paper to stay on the mat while cutting. Usually it pops off the mat just from the bend of the mat loading into the machine.
Any suggestions?

I had the same problem after only a couple of cuts,same with the mat that came with the imagine. I bought new mats for both machines and now it's working great. You can also refurbish your mats with zig 2 way glue jumbo pen or crafters companion makes a stick away to remove adhesive & a stick & spray to make them sticky. Just be warned that using these voids the warranty on your machine (so I've read elsewhere).
