I don't see how a song saying that everyone is equal in Gods sight could be offensive. But, my way of thinking is.. if something is offensive to someone.. they don't have to look. There are some people that just look for things to be offended about. My mom use to tell me, you can't please everyone all the time. I say make the card and post it.

I love that song, but I don't know if it's offensive now. I am planning a "He's got the whole world in his hands" card--you could use that song instead. I asked our childrens' ministry director about it--waiting to hear from her.

Caligirl58 wrote:I agree with Joy, doesn't the song go on to say Jesus loves the little children of the world? Go for it. Can't wait to see it. People have the choice to skip over your post if they have a problem with it.
Janet I agree with her (points up) No one is forced to look at your post, if they find it offensive, they also have the option the hit the back button and move to the next post. It is clear that offending someone is NOT your intention. I would not worry about it. My boss always says, its easier to ask for forgiveness then to ask for permission. Of course when he says it, it's because one of his kids got in trouble and that is the line they fed him! lol

I think it is wonderful.... because God DOES love the children of the world. I recently heard a new version
Red, BROWN, yellow black and white... etc.
Interesting, huh?

I agree with everyone else. Hey, that was one of my favorite childhood SS songs. And it is as true today as it was then - He loves all the big and little children. Can't wait to see your creation.
