All lights are on, unable to power off unless unplug the machine which means that the Mini is stuck in Firmware Mode. Solution: Complete the following steps in order: Unplug the Cricut Mini from the electrical outlet. Disconnect the USB cable from the Mini and your computer. Shut down CCR. Open CCR and sign in. Connect the USB cable to the Mini and your computer. CCR should prompt you to update the Cricut Mini Proceed with the update (if the update is successful, the Mini will power off by itself and you will be prompted to restart the Mini) Edited by user Tuesday, March 20, 2012 12:14:47 PM(UTC)

When you are updating your Cricut Mini for the first time, make sure Cricut Craft Room (CCR) is installed on your computer as you will not sign into CCR but you will bring up CCR's login window. Click the below link and follow the instructions to update your Cricut Mini as the instructions should already be included with your Cricut Mini. http://www.cricut.com/cr...m%20Drivers%20PDF_v3.pdfEdited by user Sunday, March 18, 2012 8:54:34 AM(UTC)

Tip of the Day! If you are buying a used Mini from a person and not the outlet store, have the seller to call PC to remove the registration from the seller's name. If the seller does not or if you are buying it from an outlet, then you can register it in your name and of course you will not have a warranty.

Tip of the Day!! It is normal for the Mini to make a louder clicking noise and while the mat moves backwards and forwards it is normal for the mini to be louder than some of the other Cricuts. Edited by user Tuesday, June 19, 2012 10:06:28 AM(UTC)

Tip of the Day!
Jfur24 posted that according to PC, when the steps in post 1 do not work, then until a fix is released from PC, click the below link and install a known version of CCR that works with the Mini. http://www.cricut.com/imaginedownload.aspx

Tip of the Day!The cutting speed for the Mini is adjusted in CCR or the Gypsy as it cannot be adjusted on the Mini.
