Haven't used my Cricut Cake as much as I should so I signed up to make birthday cakes for homeless kids. This is my first for a 2 year old boy. The sugar sheets can be VERY pricey but I had several coupons and they can be a little temperamental too but doubt I would have been able to get such crisp cuts with fondant. Love your cake it's adorable!!!! How wonderful for that little boy!!
I just purchased my cake mini and I tried the Wilton Sugar sheets and could not get them to cut. Any advice on how to get them to stay on the mat and to get a clean cut? they keep getting caught up in the blade and just ripping.. I have wasted 2 sheets already and am thinking of just returning the rest...
Any advice would be appreciated...

Did you brush shortning on the mat first to hold the sheet down
