Happy afternoon! Hope the day was good for everyone!
Pat~Your post made me laugh! Whenever I have thoughts/visions of hurting someone, it seems choking is the preferable method!! Anyway, glad your over the crop issues and you had a friend there to vent with! Your tablets are great!
Deb~Glad you got a little done at open stamp. How crazy that you have lettuce already!!
Joanne~Sounds like your weekend had a good mix of work and play. If you can't have all play, at least you can balance it!
Gramma~What is with all this crazy weather?!! I'd settle for a year round 80*. Not my ideal temperature, but I'm willing to compromise!! I do need to get over to your blog to see what you've been doing. I'm sure you keep just as busy as the rest of us!! Hope they have everything in check for DGD. Yikes on so many missed days.
Renate~Busy at work (usually) makes the time go by fast. Are you enjoying your tablet or is it too new yet? Woohoo on the refund...glad you caught the error.
Phyllis~Welcome home. Glad you had a good time!
My work day was better than yesterday. It wasn't until about 9:30 that I started losing patience with people!! I hate noise and I'm surrounded by it. The amount of time people waste astounds me...not to mention the fact that they get away with it. And the people I have to deal with at other companies....wow. Unprofessional...clueless...I could go on and on but I'm sure you all have plenty of your own stories from your working days!! Last night I went to bed at 6:30! Too tired to even read for a bit! I'm hopeful I can make tonight almost as early! I do have both my stamp camp ideas for next month so I can start prepping and I got my Easter cards done over the weekend. My niece is having a boy...so that means I have to squeeze in a scrapbook. It may not be until Christmas break!! I'm going to make homemade pizza for dinner. Fast, easy and delicious!
Jess

Great journals Pat......I often wonder 'why' people pay good money and all they do is complain....we hae a few at the various crops I attend and try as you might, it is difficult to always tune them out. Gramma glad to hear DGD can move forward with some form of help..... Phyllis glad you had a good visit....sorry about not getting things done...... Hubby and I picked up a few things at Kohl's, by HL, PetSmart and dropped a bundle on treats for the dog....everything made in the USA.... Got a ride on my bike, fed the birds, washed out the bird bath and planning a trip next month to Pigeon Forge for a car show and in May a trip to my cousin's.....excited about just getting away.... Hello to everyone else this afternoon....need to get busy on my cards.....

Jess, guess you're already in bed. Hope your day improves tomorrow. Deb, you all are keeping those motor home wheels hot, LOL. I love traveling but always glad to get home too. I have lots to do but can't muster up any energy. Hope I can catch up on my sleep tonight. Renate, Happy Belated Birthday. The few times I was able to get on my iPad while I was gone, got error messages on the MB. Pat, hope you're back on track .... Or is that not possible? LOL. Joanne, glad little Sammy did good on your trip. Gramma, hope they can get your DGD straightened out. I can't remember everything I've read so I know I've missed a lot.

hello everyone. It started out cold here and I wore my wintercoat to work, but warmed up to the 60s by the time I left. Deb, you get stuff from last year to grow? I'm impressed. My perennials come up but I don't plant many veggies and never lettuce. Glad you got some stuff at Kohl's etc. Did your hubby find some things he liked? DH absolutely hates shopping and I would never expect him to go. Pat, some people can't be happy unless they complain. It's just not fair to the folks around them. Glad you had a buddy to share the time. Love your list journals. Gramma, the news about Ashlynn could have been much worse. I just hate to see anyone sick, especially kids. I hope she feels better soon. And I don't believe for a minute that you sit around idle and twiddle your thumbs... Phyllis, welcome back. Sorry you couldn't get all your stuff done as planned but time with your friend was wonderful I bet. Jess, I keep hoping that it will get better for you at work. Maybe tonight. Woo hoo on getting the Easter cards done. When will you start on the stamp camp stuff? Yes I'm glad I checked Turbotax. We're only getting back a few Dollars but better than having to pay. I got some tablet accessories for my bday and just got them all registered. What a pain. I played a little the other day and so far like it alot. good night...Renate

Happy Wednesday..... Jess hope your day is a good one....congrats on the new 'boy' for the family....I am sure your album will be great....yep to the 'horror stories' when working....I often wonder how people can find their way to their job place, let alone the desk..... Renate I usually dump the lettuce/dirt out into my little flower bed area...it just seems to pop right back out....I like eating it because I know there have been no chemicals sprayed on it....once it begins to thin I will add store bought lettuce to it....can't wait for some fresh tomatoes and cukes....hubby got 2 pair of shorts, but we got on the road and I asked him did he not like the razor...said he forgot all about that one.....oh well....maybe we can run back down to check that out for him....I may need to carry back one pair of pants...same size different brands....a bit tight.... Gramma hope your weather is better..... Pat are you recovered from the crop? Phyllis did you get a nap in? Joanne did you get to play in your room? I got my CFS cards done yesterday but would like to add the 'shirt fold' pattern for some additional Father's Day cards....will have to see how time goes for working on them. Have a great day and I am off to finish my coffee and get some cleaning started... Edited by user Wednesday, March 28, 2012 5:53:33 AM(UTC)

Started out the day with rain and thunder... coolish on the low 50's side. This afternoon we have some sun, but the wind is really howling. DGD#1 is here today trying to feel better and that darn wind woke her up out of a nice nap. DH bought some meat at the local grocers for supper, I guess I'd better see what it is we have to cook. DDIL and DGD#2 will be here for supper. Hellos to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!! Hugz, Gramma

hello, I am beat today. Loooong day at work, ordered pizza for dinner and then I mowed the grass. It was nice and sunny but windy tody. Deb, I like unsprayed veggies too but just don't have the time and energy to tend to a vegetable garden. I do good just having a tomato plant or two. I had green pepper last year too. Not sure yet about this year. I'm glad you got some needed stuff at Kohls, sorry you have to make another trip to return the pants. You would think same sizes all fit the same but they don't. Jess, I hope your work day/night was uneventful. Will you have another lucky Friday? Gramma, when will #1 be able to go back to school? Doe she get to do her school work so she won't get so far behind? Hello to everyone else. Renate

I got my cleaning done, supper cooked and kitchen cleaned up, sent a plate to MIL, got a 30 min bike ride in and coffee and enjoyed sitting in the swing and watching the birds.... Hope everyone has a great night, tomorrow is another cleaning day at apartment.....later....

Hello! Hope everyone has a happy Thursday!
Deb~Good job getting your CFS cards done. And squeezing in the exercise with everything else that you do! Glad you took some time to relax!
Gramma~Hope DGD is feeling better.
Renate~Hope you had a good nights rest. Co-worker will be working on Friday but I'll be out of the office early so that's lucky enough for me! Work was very uneventful and I was done on time!

Good morning everyone. Having my coffee before we have to get the dogs to the groomer. I can't seem to keep caught up on here. I had to work on some custom orders yesterday.
Deb, is that shirt fold card from the Silhouette store? I have one that I bought from them and planned on using it on some Father's day cards. I know what you mean about sizes, I always have to try them on before I buy.
Renate, I haven't mowed grass in awhile, DH won't let me near the lawn mowers, I'm bad luck for them. Hope you have a better day at work.
Gramma, poor little DGD, hope she soon gets over this, maybe she will outgrow it,I know my DS had some allergy problems as a child and outgrew them. How was your dinner?
Jess, happy almost Friday.
Hello Pat and Joanne.

good morning.. I was up early, but that was about it. I have sooooooooo much to do (what else is new?) that I couldn't get focused. Even right now, I am thinking of what I will do next. Nice day with lots of sun, but very breezy and only going up to about 60. Of course that is about normal for right now, so I really shouldn't complain.
Last night, I was working on storage system for my carts and overlays and I was staring at the pile (one of many) of pattern paper that I keep avoiding. I need to go through it and either figure out a way to use it on cards or just get rid of it. This is getting ridiculous. I have another crop in 2 weeks and have decided I am going to work on cards and NOT layouts. I am btter off doing those at home, where I have everything I *might* need. This hauling a ton of stuff to a crop is NOT working for me.
Hoping to get the gazebo cover on this weekend and then get son in law to help Jim get my bike onto the deck.
Hello to everyone.. I hope you are all having nice weather and a good day at whatever you are facing.

Phyllis I bought a shirt file....but this is one I got the pattern from my SU demo.....size of paper 5 1/2 x 12 with scoring at 2, 4, 8, 9 and 10....and one cut at 1 3/4 inch down, round some corners....cut but I can't get the dimensions smaller....glad you are getting more orders..... Pat good luck with all your missions....... I am done with the apt, had a snack and headed to get my bike ride in...... Hope everyone has a great day.....

DH bought home chicken breasts yesterday, so I dredged them in egg and cracker crumbs and threw them in the oven. We had a veggie casserole, mashed potatoes and corn for the DGD's (they don't do broccoli). It was quite good. #1DGD had to stay home again today, but if she remains fever free will be allowed back in school tomorrow followed by two weeks of Spring break. Yes, her Aunt is a teacher at her school and she brings her papers home every afternoon. She is in kindergarten now, so the work isn't mandatory, but we're hoping she gets her health straightened out before first grade rolls around. Getting ready to send Pat 25 cards I have made. Probably tomorrow, if not then Monday. Hope everyone is having a great day. Hugz, Gramma

Gramma, I hope when spring break is over, dgd will have her allergy issues behind her. I will be watching for your pkg with bated breath.
I keep moving here, but no real motivation. I have a pkg to pack up for my lemon supplier (aka my sis) and hopefully I can get it in the mail tomorrow. I think I need a mug of tea to wake up.

Gramma hope your DGD gets all fixed up so when she starts 1st grade she won't miss many days.... Pat I have a few lemons left in the crisper drawer, might bake a couple more pound cakes for the freezer. Hope everyone has a great night....

Evening Castle Been crazy hectic here getting the house ready for PA DD and her family. They arrived this afternoon after a two hour delay in Chicago. It is good to have my grands here. Looks like I missed alot and I am not even going to try to pretend to remember anything I read! Phyllis - Sammy went to the groomer today also. She looks like a different dog! She is excited to have company. Gramma - I hope that DGD gets all this nonsense behind her soon too. She is lucky to have someone looking after her class work for her. Pat - I did cards at a crop one time and got lots of them done. I always seem to end up needing something from home for layout and have to set it aside. Deb - Can't believe you are eating out of your garden already! Wow! Jess and Renate - enjoy your Friday. Will check back in a few joanne

Hello to the ghost castle!
Deb~Are you still trying to tackle that card? Glad your internet is back up.
Phyllis~Whoohoo for more orders! How often do the dogs go to the groomers? That's one expense I'm glad I don't have. Although I make up for them in others areas! How lucky to have to stay away from the mowers!!
Pat~Hope the rest of the day was better for you. Good idea about working on cards for the next crop. Will you be gone for the whole weekend for that one?
Gramma~How fortunate that Aunt works at DGD school and can bring stuff home for her. Even though it doesn't have to get done, she probably enjoys doing it. Hopefully her health issues are resolved soon.
Joanne~Enjoy your time with family (as you always do!). I bet Sammy will be getting plenty of attention!
It was nice to get out of work early today. I didn't want to, but I did sneak in a nap. I really need to start some deep cleaning but I have zero motivation. I did get all my Easter cards addressed and ready for mailing. It rained all morning but it's supposed to stop for the weekend. Again, the plan is for DH to go to the chateau. His truck has been in the shop since Monday but he's hoping to be able to pick it up today. Thank goodness it's still under warranty because everything but the engine block was taken apart. Cards, cleaning or starting a book...hmmm...those are my current choices!

Hello everyone. Been doing a little house cleaning (I do as little as I can get away with, LOL). DH is painting some of the trim on the house, dogs are sleeping (what they do best). They do look nice after their grooming. Beautiful day here.
Joanne, have fun with your DD and grands.
Deb, is your cleaning done?
Pat, how's your day going?
Gramma, do you have DGD today?
Jess and Renate, woo hoo on Friday. Oh reminds me, taxes MUST get done this weekend.

Jess, we were posting at the same time. I vote for playing as your first choice. Our dogs go every 6 (sometimes 8) weeks to the groomer. It is an expense I wish I could do myself but can't get the hair cut right, been there, done that and what a mess. Happy weekend to you whatever you decide to do.

No DGD today.. Her dad had the day off and they are spending the early day together.
Sun is out, but it is really chilly... Stupid weather guy is predicting a "Possible" 2" of snow overnight.
Trying to get a few thing done for the OJ. DD and family will be here tomorrow for a week so nothing will get done.
Have a great Palm Sunday weekend.

Happy Friday Quiet here - DH and SIL are playing golf, DD and DGD#2 are visiting her buddies and DGS#2 is napping. Unfortunately he is in my room so I can not go in and play. Jess - naps are always good. Hope you get some playtime in. Phyllis - I tried the groom it myself once too with the same results Not good... Gramma - Your weather guy needs to be taken off somewhere. Is DGD feeling any better? Hello to Deb, Pat and Renate. Tomorrow is Disney - --- Joanne

Hello, I made it through the week. It stormed today a few times. Drove home in a downpour. Jess, ghost castle lol. It seems like it at times. Glad you got out early and allowed yourself the nap. Did DH get his truck back, when is he leaving for the chateau? If you find some cleaning motivation send some my way please. I need to work my way through the whole house too. Oh well. Phyllis, those peky taxes. We need to remind each other until we both have them done. Ours are done I think, just got to file and pay. Gramma, send that snow back to where it came from. Crazy weather. Hope dgd's health is improving. Joanne, enjoy your house full of guests and hopefully some playtime. Deb, you had a super busy day today. My day was productive, very busy. Rushed home from work to take one of the dogs to the vet. He has allergies or something and needed refill. He needs teeth cleaning and some extractions which will cost a lot. I found out today that they give a military discount. I wished they had told me before. I guess I'll just have to ask everywhere I shop if the discount is offered. Pat, how was your day? Good night, Renate.

40's and overcast in WNY but nothing to shovel thank goodness. I agree Joanne.. weatherman should be beaten!
DD and family are on the way, they got a late start so probably won't be here before 9-10 tonight unless they don't stop for anything..
Tomorrow is my big brother's 70th birthday (yep, an April Fools baby... my mom was surprised too!). I suppose we'll do something with them to celebrate but I haven't been told what it is yet. He has my DSIL making spaghetti for an Amish family tonight... not even sure that many people will fit in their house.
Hope everyone is having a great day! Hugz, Gramma

Happy Saturday! Phyllis~We do the same kind of cleaning! How are them taxes coming along?!! Gramma~How did the weatherman do on his prediction? None for us but they did get it at home. Enjoy your family time. Doing anything special or just hanging out? Birthday wishes to your brother! Joanne~Hope everyone is enjoying their time at Disney. Deb~Glad the cut worked out for you, hope the second one did as well. Enjoy your playing with paper time! Renate~DH did get his truck back but isn't very happy. Thinks the dealership/GM should cover an extended warranty on the new motor, so far they don't. He ended up going out last night so didn't get home until late. He has the truck packed to go to the chateau but is currently napping. He has been warned that if he stays here he will be put to work. He wants to go fishing tomorrow so he plans on bringing the boat back with him. I don't exactly have the motivation for cleaning but it has to get done. Glad you got the discount butI bet it would have been nice to find out sooner. Hope the dog is ok. Lots of cleaning here. All done with the upstairs except the vacuuming (DH sleeping). I have to move some furniture and do the last five windows in the living room and then (I think) the windex can be put away. Onto the bathroom after that, then dusting. Ugh. Never ending. A little more laundry to do in between everything else. Jess
