I'm not sure if this is a fluke or what but I was reading a post and I noticed the person who started the post had over 100 "thanks" and I was thinking... Self: They must have made something really great to have that many "thanks" this early on the new board! SO... I went and clicked on the persons user name so I could see if I could locate this amazing project or post and when I clicked the users name it offered me the option to "View Thanks" well that is just what I was looking for so when I clicked on the tab it took me to a whole bunch of posts and I quickly realized I was reading stuff on the Circle board and not just this community. It didn't take me to the circle board it just allowed me to read any post that this person had posted to and was thanked for on either messageboard... Not sure if this is important or not but just thought I would say something. Also I should note that I am not a Circle member and have never been on the Circle Messageboard. So do you feel like a secret agent or what? I guess it's a loophole. What do the gamers call those? "Cheats" when you find hidden things? Kinda funny. I think the circle board is supposed to just be there for testing out new things and also for making sure there's no confusion about who is eligible for contest and also to give us some extra perks every once in a while. I am not sure it's meant to be ultra secret(?) So what was the great info/project? maybe I need to check it out too? LOL

HA! Honestly I never found it... Only because there was not one great project that had gotten tons of "Thanks" her number was so high because she had been on the Circle board much longer than this one and had the chance to rack them up. I'm sure that is just as clear as mud! I'm not sure if the posts on the Circle board are supposed to be secret or not I just found it strange to be able to see something that I would usually need a seperate log in for is all...

Perhaps there's a Circle member with the same ID as you? There are 2 kimmies on this board right now, both spelled the same way and both in lower-case. ETA I can see some Circle posts when I check a Circle member's Thanks list. Edited by user Monday, September 20, 2010 4:15:50 PM(UTC)

Hmmm, I am a circle member and if everyone here (in the regular board) can go and read the Circle board...then what am I paying to be in the Circle for....if it's $300 just for 4 cartridges....that's a rip off....lol

I'm not in the Circle either and when I tried to view the post from the earliest thanks of a very active Circle member, I get the message of "Access Denied--You tried to enter an area where you didn't have access".
So don't worry, all your Circle chat is safe!

I believe what the original poster is stating is if you click on the user name & then VIEW THANKS, if it's something they said on the CIRCLE Message board, the entire post (that they thanked can be read. Perhaps another detail missed when merging the boards????? Edited by user Monday, September 20, 2010 6:00:33 PM(UTC)

Ok I must be nosy...you can see people's post in the circle board! Wow again!!! You can read back pages and pages. I see people I have not seen in forever! OK I'm really done this time. I just tested it and I can only see the messages where people have the "THANK" clicked to the message, if you click on the actual thread topic it says you are denied. I don't think people can read the entire threads and if they can and they are not members then it definately needs to be fixed. Probably something will need to be adjusted on the "Thanks" part as well where non-members can't read the Circle posts. I'm not a member but if its supposed to be private then I agree it should be private all the way around. Lets give PC time to fix this because so far I really like this new board; its soooo fast! :)
And I've noticed everyone seems to be alot happier over here about most things! LOL!

Are you saying that "what happens in the circle...doesn't stay in the circle"? Sounds like a glitch...

I didn't think it was scandalous or anything. I was thinking more along the lines of a security/privacy issue. I would think that you would have to log into the Circle messageboard. Then you also have to log in here, I'm curious as to the sharing of that information. I think it's a huge perk for us non circle members because we can look at other peoples "Thanks" and if we are lucky they have "Thanked" one of the fantastic projects that I may not have seen otherwise. *edit for spelling Edited by user Tuesday, September 21, 2010 6:15:32 PM(UTC)

Dog-gone it! I thought I was the only who discovered this!! Oh well... The cat is out of the bag or should I say "The cricut is out of the circle". Seriously ladies I really don't think the circle is plotting against us! But is is fun to read their board even though it sounds just like ours.

Guess what???? It has now been fixed. You can no longer see their boards. But trust me there was nothing diabolical going on there. Chit-chat just like ours.

I didn't see anything terrible:) PC just seemed very talkative. We can spend months trying to get questions answered and they seemed to answer frequently there. I just hope it is a trend for them! I have not tried to go and look again, but I wish everyone would post here too! I am so happy for the people that do. I sure am enjoying all the sharing of projects! I missed that.
