I finally braved up and gave this pattern a try. I did it on the green loom first and tonight I've started on a larger one on my yellow loom. This one is a child's size but since my kids were all gone or have heads that are adult size I had to resort to taking my stuffed monkey down to model.  BarbaraR attached the following image(s):
