I am using a MAC desktop and the Cricut Create. Up to now I have used the Cricut Design Studio with a PC laptop, but I thought it would be great to use my MAC so when the Craft Room was designed and was told it is compatible with a MAC I thought that was great. However, I cannot get the 2 to work together. I have spent hours on the phone with customer service and they could not get the craft room to work with my MAC. It tells me to update firmware which I do to 1.61 but then it could not cut with it and the computer would not recognize the Create. Has anyone else out there had this problem and were you able to solve it. Provocraft has been unsuccessful. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Having same issue. In fact, my machine was working for the most part it was just having trouble cutting circles, so I talked to support and they told me to update my machine, it updated to 1.61. Now, it will neither cut, nor connect to my Mac. It is completely useless and broken. Talked to support again, she had me download this design studio update, twice, and then she tells me, "oh, it doesn't work on Macs, just try to update in Craft Room." Doesn't even connect to Craft Room! Argh!
