OK, I started out using the cake mini for the first time last week because i had a wedding cake to do last Friday for a wedding on Saturday and i used a combo of sugar sheets and homemade marshmallow fondant to cut out graphics and letters from the cartridge that came with the mini. The thing to remember with the sheets is to pull down a good amount of shorting on the cutting mat and place the sheet on top and rub out any air bubbles before cutting. The fondant has to be rolled out very thin. The pressure for the sheets should be medium and the fondant should be low, or at least that is how it worked for me. I would post a photo but cannot get it to let me.Sorry

ok i am sitting here playing with my cake cricut . Was wondering how thin for the fondant and should i let the fondant air dry for a bit before trying to cut?? any help would be great. I am trying to see if making my butterflies with this or using a cookie cutter. since they do have to be small enough to fit on my little babies.
