i can't get the cricut markers to make regular letters. the letters they make are like the cuts. so when i use the marker for an o i get a ring not a circle. is there any way to change this?

If you have the G you can hide cuts. That is the only way I know of. I hope this helps.

The markers draw wherever a regular blade would cut. So, when you use the fonts you get an outlined letter. If I want a solid colored letter I just color it in when I am done.

So I guess with DS you could also hide the cut. I haven't even used the markers I have but will have to try to this.

I have never used my markers. They are still brand new and I got 11 of them with my purchase. I need to just use them!! Maybe this weekend...

I wanted to make outlined cut pumpkins, will the cricut x do this? If so how do I know where to start with the needle to cut them out?

When you have finished drawing the pumpkin push "load paper" and the mat will return to the beginning. Now change the marker to the blade,TIP:place a scrap piece of paper under the area so you don't accidentally mark your work. When the blade is in place push "repeat last" and "cut". Make sure you adjust the blade and pressure before you cut.

Just another tip.... If something your outlining has a face, say the EDPD it's going to cut the eye's out once your put the blade back in unless you hide contour on DS or Gypsy. Before I had my G i'd outline then cut but I'd stop the cut when it got to the face.
