I was wondering if any of you use the create machine and if you know whether it can be connected to the computer and used like the mini as well as used with any cartridge?
Please let me know if you have any other suggestions as well. I am looking before I buy.

Scrapper[biggrin yes the create can be connected to CCR (Cricut craft room) like the mini but like the mini you will still need to purchase cartridges (either digitally to be used with CCR or the gypsy) or to purchase the actual physical cartridge.

The Create can cut 6" x 12". Also, have a read of this thread before using Craft Room with your Create. It may not apply to your machine, but forewarned is forearmed :) Good luck! Edited by user Monday, January 23, 2012 10:29:54 AM(UTC)

I have been scrolling and clicking and scanning; I cannot find whether or not the cartridges differ between machines or will ALL of them work in any Cricut machine?
That and I am going to get the cuttlebug, do I need ink for the embellishing?

All of the Cricut carts, except the Imagine carts, will work in all Cricut models. The Imagine carts {and all the other Cricut carts} will work in the Imagine and E2. The blades are the same for all Cricut models except the Cricut cake. The cuttlebug does dry embossing. Some people have inked their embossing folders before embossing to add color. Some ink or color after embossing. Wet embossing involves ink. You stamp your image using a pigment ink and sprinkle with embossing powder, then use a heat gun to create the raised embossed look.
