Can someone tell me what the normal price for an expression is in the US?
Not a sale price, just what the "average-joe who doesn't know where the deals are" would be paying for one.
Thanks

When I was in Billings, MT last month, wal mart had them for 249.00 - that was their regular price....they even had one left from Black Friday with Serenade in it. I had it in my hot little hands and then put it back! The sales there are better too tho. Makes it tempting to buy one to have a spare sometimes! sabine Edited by user Sunday, September 19, 2010 8:49:11 AM(UTC)

I've always seen it for $299 but thats always so-called sale price. Every Michaels I go or been to always has it for $279-$299 saying it was $399. I picked up the pink for $279 last month.

I got one on ebay for my daughter that included several goodies, the Design Software, and the Potpourri and Schoolbook cartridges, for 182.50, free shipping. AND, it only took four days for it to be shipped to me and arrived in perfect shape. I bought one for myself that included accent essentials, schoolbook, and the little toolkit for 169.50, free shipping.
Some deals to be had, if you're patient, set a price limit for yourself, and don't watch during busy times (ie Saturday and Sunday during the day.) One thing I did was haunt listing that ended within a minute or two of each other. Often the second one is ignored while everyone overbids on the first one.
PM me if you'd like to know the name of the ebay seller.

Does anyone know what the difference between the black expressions and the normal one? I've been watching ebay to see if I could snag one for a good price. I keep seeing these black expressions and have no idea what they are. Suz, I would be interested in getting the name of who you purchased from. I tried a pm but its now working today. ETA. Amazon has the expression for $254 Edited by user Wednesday, September 22, 2010 11:32:57 AM(UTC)

Suz, I would be interested in getting the name of who you purchased from. I tried a pm but its now working today. There is really no difference between the original E and the black E. The black E was a Walmart exclusive during the Black Friday special (along with green, red and blue) in 2009. Their Black Friday price was 198.00 but Walmart sells them for 289.00 everyday as their "everyday low price". HTH!

I bought mine two weeks ago at Joanns for $249. It might be on sale again this week....it was listed somewhere for that price, but I'm not sure where.

I think J's regular price is $399. I just bought the Expression (including 2 carts), YourStory and Deluxe Paper Trimmer for $274 at overstock.com. I also had a $10 coupon so it dropped it down to $264 with free shipping.

Amazon.com, cricutmachine.com and ohmycrafts.com usually have the best prices. You can find them on ebay, you'll pay around $225 give or take, depending on the time of day, shipping/etc.
Just buy from a trusted seller with good feedback and you're good to go :-)

I know there's a negative thread on ProudParents2005 because I posted n it. The day of the Imagine's release I bid on a new machine with no cartridges & got one for $165.00. They delivered quickly but didn't respond to my ebay messages wanting to have the shipping address changed. Luckily it came before I left for a long weekend.

We have them around town for 399 to 299 on sale. However I just bought on Ebay for $155 with free 2 day shipping! It came with Planting school book and potpurrie(I know this is spelled wrong but too lazy to figure it out!) catridges. It took me about two days of dropping in on auctions at the end to get one for a great price. I bought it Monday and it should be here tomorrow, yay!!

I was at several Menard's big box stores over the past month and they have them for $199. I'm not sure; I think they only come with one cartridge, though, and I don't know which one.

I bought mine on eBay a few months ago. I watched for a couple of months and one night I won the bid and got it for $153. I was really happy and really glad I waited!
