I just got my cart today and was upset at the lack of instructions with this one. I usually can figure out layers and stuff like that. This cart has cuts for small boxes for an Advent calendar you can create with the openings on the buildings. I wish PC would have enclosed some kind of note with this one... really unless you wrack your brain thinking they are for the buildings maybe to stand on.. or for them to be just tiny presents.. there is no way of knowing that it's for the buildings... anyways I hope this helps those of you that are getting this cart. Cut the buildings at whatever size you want then cut the boxes using the same sizes. I would suggest thicker carstock for the buildings and lighter for the boxes since the weight of the buildings my topple them over with the weight of the boxes. The boxes can also be cut larger using fit to page.... and used for presents.. you would need to create your own top for the box.

Cool, thanks for letting us know. That is really starting to get on the nerves, they have these "3D" images and then don't tell us how to build them. Some of us are spatially challenged. (really I am) LOL Hugs,

Thank you for the info. Are there enough boxes for a full advent calendar? I've been working on designing an advent calendar that would hold a message or a small treat. From what you are saying, this might do the trick. What do you think?

Thanks so much. I was wondering what those boxes were for, since they didn't have tops. Are there enough openings for a full advent calender, or are these just places for a few nice surprises?

Nilda, this is wonderful! I love the houses, and thanks for the info on the boxes... I'm assuming that the cut sizes of the houses and boxes correspond, so that the boxes frame the windows. Am I right?

[size=8] Way entirely cool, this cartridge is back on my wish list. Do the boxes work with the Nativity scene too?Edited by user Sunday, September 19, 2010 1:50:53 PM(UTC)
