before you go into a thread, lets say at "Cricut Chat" you can see all the topics and on the left side a face. Some smile, some don't. What are they? TIA

There is actually a index of the different faces and what they stand for at the bottom of the posts list mb page :) There are about 6-8 different ones.

If you look at the bottom of the first page of the forum, its shows a key for all of the little logos you will see throughout this forum. :) It will help you navigate which threads have new posts, or what you have already visited, etc.
