Hi all! I have an original YourStory and I'm finally getting around to really using it. I have one of the 8x8 books with square cutout. I'd love to decorate the cover, but I'm not sure how to do this. Any ideas? Wasn't sure if I could ModPodge paper to it, that type of thing.
Thanks for any help!
Karen

Karen Hi Karen, I decorated a 4 by 6 album cover and I used printed card stock, I cut some images with my cricut and used my tape runner to adhere everything down. I think it turned out rather nice. I will attempt to post a picture.

I decorated the large binder with printed card stock and a princess cricut cut. I used adhesive and it held fine. I made a photo book for my grand daughter's second bday - eveyone loved it.

Thanks for posting this question! I haven't tried it yet either but was considering covering a couple to make autograph books for my dds for a trip to Disney World in a couple of weeks.

I have used adhesive vinyl on my covers. It looks great & is easy. You can cut embellishments with your cricut if you have one or, just free hand cut. You can buy adhesive vinyl at Hobby Lobby in lots of colors.

For the 4 x 6 covers, I've run the top through the Cuttlebug using the Divine Swirls folder and it is so pretty. I no longer have it as I gave it to my daughter. For the 8 x 8 albums, I think vinyl would look amazing! Edited by user Saturday, February 04, 2012 6:04:50 PM(UTC)
