Try laying different coloured pieces of cardstock on it- I have the gypsy so I'd cut multiple things at once on the big mat. I get my cardstock from a "Artsy and Paint" store in Canada "Curry's"...I do not think they ship out of Canada...Sorry! Edited by user Saturday, September 18, 2010 7:19:15 AM(UTC)

You should be able to pruchase 12x24 from ProvoCraft online. It is only necessary if you want to cut something really big. I use 12x24 mats and rotate the sides it really helps the mats to last longer. I also can cut a whole project at once by cutting and laying the papers across the mat, it really makes cutting quicker. Good Luck

you can cut wall paper, vinyl, contact paper, different colors in defferent sections, freezer paper so many things! I love my mats I just broke down and bought the 12x24 a few weeks ago and wish I had gotten them sooner.

Another thing you can use is poster board. I buy it at the dollar store. It comes in so many colors, and I just cut it down to fit the 12 x 24 mat. HTH.

Hi I live in NZ and I know we have several on line scrapbooks here that sell the 12x24 paper. Try http://nzscrapbook.co.nz...90065eb1d0add55ad9f0b9ec they have it advertised and I bought mine off them. They are good to deal with. Edited by user Saturday, September 18, 2010 11:07:01 PM(UTC)

Hey Michelle,
One of the Aussie girls asked this a while back and someone suggested just using poster board - you know the large cardboard sheets used for kids school projects and just cut to 12x24

You could also buy large sheets of watercolor paper (I know Canson makes them) in an art supply store and cut them down. Canson was the company that made the solid colored paper for Creative Memories years ago.

any ideas on using them? what do you cut on them?? If you don't have access to 12 x 24 paper put two 12 x 12 on the mat. Serves same purpose.

Hi, I am from Brisbane, Australia. I have bought Provocraft paper in 12 x 24 from Ohmycrafts.com and also Customcrops.com in the USA. With the exchange rate at the moment it would be quite good. Just depends on the postage they charge. I bought mine a while ago. I also use the card stock that others mentioned from Newsagents and just cut it down. I make boxes and bags mainly with my 12 x 24 paper. I also use my mats a lot to lay several different colours at once on the mat. I use Design Studio with this a lot. I have also made a wall hanging using larger cuts with these mats. I would not be without them. I hope this helps. Adrienne
